Hello fellow tarkov'ers !
The mods website maintenance will be ended today at 8:00pm. This maintenance have added a lot of things to the mods website.
Let's see them together
You might take a few minutes to read it all, it's, really, big.
Added functionnalities:
Mods support threads
The mods website now hold mods support. Globally, each mods now get a thread which is only made for the support regarding this specific mod (instead of making support in comments sections). The mod author have full control on the thread, and this thread is automatically generated on mod uploading.
How to access it ? It's simple, head over the mod page, and then click on "support thread".
That's how you access support thread
The support thread where people can ask their questions
SPT-Aki support threads
And YES, you are reading it. #EFT Support will be yeeted off the PUB, and be moved to mods.sp-tarkov.com. You'll be able to access it by clicking on "Support zone" in the page header.

Support zone
Why moving it from the pub to the website ?
This way, we can force users filling all the required informations to get a correct support. So they will be forced to fill their versions and such before posting for avoiding leading to something like "Hey my game is broke, how can i fix it ?"
This will aswell allow us to make a correct archiving of supports issues. Here a thread exemple:

With all this, we are expending our possibilities
Helper role, nani ?
With all this changes, that's a necessary role we have to introduce on the mods website. This role will let people manage the support threads, like @contributors can actually do in #EFT-Support. To whoever is willing to manage it, participate to it, and make Hell become a paradise, they can apply by going there:
Go in your control panel, and then heads to "User groups"
Control panel
You will end up on this page:
Click "Apply for Membership"
You will just have to click on "Apply for Membership" and i will review it.
/!\ Important /!\ Mention your guilded name in the application.
Articles ? What for ?
After reviewing all the websites form answers, i concluded that something like that would be interesting. It will replace the actual changelog section and #Announcement - Stable and #announcement - dev will be added in it. They will still be wrote on guilded, but they will be copied over to the websites.
I will aswell use this articles section to create some website related "tutorials" and tips on how to use it, because in the feedback form i noticed a lot of people were missing knowledge about how to use the website, and requested some features that were already available on the website.
Exemple of an article
Articles can be commented aswell and be accessed from the header menu. You will receive like new mods, a little notification when a new article have been published.
Changelog section got yeeted
As written, i have yeeted the current changelog section we had, to replace it for a direct link for EFT Wiki changelog. That was extra work for me to keep it updated, and not really used. SPT-Aki Changelog will be available in a dedicated articles.
Main page mods overview
The main page mod listing have changed. Now instead of listing the last updated one, it will show a random set of mods of the website. This have been changed to make people discover new mods instead of always the same one. You can always follow specific mods to get a notification of when it is updated.
Where to follow mods
A new shootbox may come
I'm still not decided on it, but a new shootbox may be introduced on the mods website. Nothing is decided yet.
German support
The website now partially support german language. Because the CMS is initially german, an already-made translation was already available. Only our custom content still need to be localized. Other localizations still need to be worked on.
Casualties caused by the maintenance.
With all these changes, there's sadly been some casualties. There's been a lot of data changes, and during these changes some have been lost cause of some structures changes that made them going funky wonky, so i had to reset them.
- All mods icons have been reseted to the default icon.
- All mods labels have been removed. So modders will now have to re-apply their correct version label for their mods. Instead, they have all been marked "R6"
- All mods comments and review have been removed.
- All profiles pages got reseted too. This include walls comments, personnal descriptions and profile visitors
- All privates messages have been deleted.
- All mods/messages attachements (screenshots uploaded) have been deleted. I hardly tried to restore them without chance.
- Our emotes have been removed. All our guilded emotes have been removed, but they will eventually be restored tomorrow.
- Reactions are disabled until we recover the previous reactions available. It might come back tomorrow if everything goes well.
