Experience Forever 1.2.1.0.unofficial

Are you tired of levelling up all your skills at a diminished rate just because your PMC is tired? Who cares if he's tired, this is a war! Whip your soldier back in shape with Experience Forever! No more skill fatigue!

NOTICE

I just moved to Korea for my job and so it'll probably be a little while before I can make any updates and changes. Right now, I'm working on getting a desktop PC in my new place. In the meantime, if you are a programmer and want to fix my dumb mod, the source code will always be available. You may elect to either create a pull request on the repo, or make your own fork of the project! I'm fine with either one. stalkingkappa

Experience Forever allows you to level all of your skills at the same rate throughout the entire raid. You can customize how fast you level your skills in the Configuration Manager.

  • Version 1.2.1.0.unofficial

    Created by TinyTeeth

Updates the mod to SPT version 3.5.5

  • Version 1.2.0.0

Added an experimental point scalar. Each skill has it's own arbitrary multiplier based on personal experience playing SPT. More passes will be needed to get it more balanced. This is turned off by default to avoid it potentially ruining peoples' saves.

Here are the values for those too lazy to look at the source code:

    • Perception x2
    • Search x2
    • Surgery x3.5
    • Troubleshooting x4
    • Stress Resistance x4
    • Health x1.75
    • Mag Drills x2.5
    • Aim Drills & Recoil Control x1.75
    • Immunity x3
    • Vitality x4
    • Covert Movement x10
    • Attention x2.5
    • Heavy Vests x3
    • Light Vests x2.5
    • Assault Rifles, LMGs, SMGs, Shotguns, and Throwing x3.75
    • Snipers, Pistols, and Revolvers x6.5
    • Melee x12.5
    • Underbarrel Launchers x4.5
    • Weapon Treatment x10

Suggestions for changing these values are welcome, either through the comments, mod thread, or through GitHub.

  • Version 1.1.0.0

Added a Metabolism multiplier option, in case you weren't a fan of getting elite level in two raids.

Levelling speed should now be roughly up-to-date with your settings. The first "action" after changing your settings will retain the old multiplier, but subsequent actions will use the correct value.

  • Version 1.0.0.0

    Initial release.

  • This mod is outdated and they don’t want to update it. Can you suggest similar mods?

    • Does the update you provided for 3.5.7 still work for 3.6.0?

    • No, it does not

      Thumbs Up 1
  • are we getting an update for 3.5.7?

    • хотелось бы

    • Just posted an update above this post.

  • I've noticed that when you go above 19.9 times the xp it just doesn't work not sure if this is just me or not

  • Updated to 3.5.6 https://www.dropbox.com/s/7hxv…r-1.2.0.0%2B3.5.6.7z?dl=0

I don't play 3.5.6 so can't confirm there will be no issues with this, just built against the latest client version, no GClass changes needed.

  • Hey I appreciate what you do, and also the update that Tiny Teeth provided. I did want to ask a question, in the configurator I only see "Use automatic skill adjustment" then "enabled" then the "skill point multiplier" then the "metabolism multiplier". Is one of these a toggle for the experimental point scalar you were commenting about in the 1.2 update? Or am I blind and entirely missing where to enable this?

Regardless of the answer, or if too busy to answer, thanks for the work you've provided so far, and hope Korea goes well.

    Have a good one.

  • I have updated Experience Forever to 3.5.5, just changed the GClasses in rlen's source code, No other changes were made.

I offer no guarantees on this, it appears to work from having played a raid or 2.

    • Absolute goat!!

  • Eyo Rlen, was you planning to update this to 3.5.5? :)

    • Hello!

To be honest, I'm not in a great position to do so at the moment. Explanation is in the updated description. Sorry about that, hopefully it changes soon.

    • That's okay, Thank you for you quick response. Hope things clear up for you soon :)

  • Just letting you know that this isn't working in 3.5.5

    • Yeah, sorry about that vibecheck

I just updated the mod description to explain why I haven't worked on the mod in a bit. Hoping I can get back to it in the near future.

  • Hey, love this mod idea!!! I know it could be painful, but I'd really like it if I can custom-tailor each skill to its own multiplier myself. For example, I like the idea of setting my skill multiplier to 0.25 for something like Strength / Endurance (to offset the fact that I will be leveling it constantly instead of for just 5ish skill points), but that means setting ALL skills (including metabolism, actually. Couldn't get that to be separate after changing the default value) to 0.25. This would mean that skills rarely used, like Surgery, will never level up. Again, the concept of the mod is amazing, I think it would be benefitted by allowing us to change each skill level individually. Thanks!

  • i extracted the file and got a disclaimer.PDF along with it, is that suppose to happen??

    • It's a requirement, since I host the files on my personal website, I have to include a disclaimer in the files. You don't need to copy it to your installation, just the BepInEx folder.

  • Not sure if it's this mod, but my Metabolism skill is getting leveled up several levels everytime I drink or eat something.

    • I think the reason is because BSG set XP gained from eating/drinking to a really high value to compensate for skill fatigue. I might add a setting specifically for metabolism for this reason. I went from level 11 to level 51 in a couple raids so it is a tad broken.

    • Yeah ive had skill fatigue disabled in previous playthroughs and its really not ment with metabolism. The skillfatigue sets in really fast with metabolism. The best part is, if you get elite before survivalist path zurachiy or something you cant complete the quest as you cant get dehydrated.
