Replace FDE textures of Beretta M9A3 with black textures.

This mod replaces the textures for the following items:


Beretta M9A3 9x19 pistol

M9A3 9x19 threaded barrel

M9A3 thread protection cap

M9A3 9x19 pistol slide

M9A3 front sight

M9A3 rear sight

M9A3 polymer side grips

M9A3 9x19 17-round magazine


Install:


Simply unpack .zip and drag the M9A3-Blacked folder (not M9A39-Blacked-1.X.X folder) into your mods folder.


After installing, it is recommended that you delete the Battlestate Games folder from your User/Appdata/Local/Temp folder so inventory thumbnails are forced to regenerate on game restart and reflect new textures.


Uninstall:


Simply remove the M9A3-Blacked folder from your mods folder.


After uninstalling, it is recommended that you delete the Battlestate Games folder from your User/Appdata/Local/Temp folder so inventory thumbnails are forced to regenerate on game restart and reflect original textures.

  • The loaded magazine for the M9A3 is black but changes back to it's normal color when fully unloaded :P

  • it keeps saying it's missing the jazon file. is this becuaase I didnt delete hte Batte State Games folder?

  • I found some help and managed to make your G28 black work as a standalone, I've also went ahead and made a standalone version of that for this retexture if you would allow me to do the same for this mod too.

  • the guns should be always black i can't believe they got back to making non-black guns

  • Why not put the all reskin in one mod? Why download 10 mods, instead of one?

    • Because these are texture replacement mods, I didn't want to force people to choose between all or nothing. This may happen in the future if I learn how to incorporate a config file that would allow you choose which textures get replaced and which don't.


      I didn't make these textures appear on new, separate items because A) I don't know how to yet, and B) I believe I'd have to make separate versions that would play nice with other mods which change bot loadouts and trader inventory/prices.

    • I think a good option for this would be to just put all reskin folders into one zip file so you only download one but can choose what to actually put into your mods folder, no need to play with config files that way.
