  • Sooo, uhhh... I've been gone for a while. Sorry about that <3


    Unfortunately I will most likely be gone again after releasing alevesThings [3.7.4], but know this that I'm fine and the reason I've been gone from this community is because I got burned out by pouring too many hours into both EFT/SPT and into modding for it. I'm slowly dipping my toes back into playing this game again just for fun, but I'm still not really feeling it like I used to.


    I'm focusing on different unrelated projects atm and I've also gotten a job since the previous release, so I don't have the interest nor the time to go back into modding for SPT any time soon (or ever).


    I missed you though. Thanks to everyone in this community for keeping SPT-AKI alive till this day and hopefully for a long time to come! <3<3<3

  • so iv got a question. Is it possible to keep the customization options that Alevesthings brings but disable the fact that it can allow lets say the SVD to take 5.45mags and shoot m80rnds?

  • I cant put an LPVO or any of the 1x sights like the holographic sights on my gun if i have the T12W thermal on any slot. i wanted to use it on a canted and run LPVO's but i cant. any fix or work around?

  • You can "fix" pistol scopes being mostly blacked out by removing the Mask texture

  • This mod still works with the latest SPT 3.7.0 update. I just tested this evening and attachment works in raid just fine, so guys go download and use it if you want to!


    Edit: Unfortunately due to server changes, now alevesThings seems to be incompatible with 3.7.1 and probably any future SPT updates. aleves please come back :(

  • Should the M9A3 be gaining firerate when swapping to burst mode? The code seems to state that but in effect it doesn't seem to be happening.

  • for some reason when i use this mod and try to start my game it gets to the spt laucher i press start and then nothing happens and the button goes dark

    • this happens to me occasionaly, not just with this mod. Just close and reopen the launcher and it should work

  • Any chance you'll make the M203 UBGL useable with more handguards/M4 barrels? That would be fantastic 💜💜

  • the mod is broken :[ when loaded by itself, i get errors from bots being able to spawn in due to incorrect ammo types being loaded and something about incompatible attachments, huge line of red lines

    • Odd, no idea why my mod would do that. I've just tried doing two random runs at customs and reserve which gave no errors (at least none related to alevesThings I think) and the bots worked as they should as far as I know.

      • Have you tried doing the cache thing mentioned above?
      • Are you sure that the "SPT Game Path" is pointing at the right folder with the right version and not some older folder that might still linger somewhere? This setting can be found in the "⚙️Settings" button in the upper right corner of the launcher window.
      • Have you tried moving/removing my mod to get rid of any residual messy/old files and then do a clean reinstall directly from the ZIP archive?
      • Have you checked that no other mods might be interfering with this mod?
      • Did you install SPT-AKI 3.4.0 from scratch or did you replace an older version directly by overwriting? If the latter's correct, please try doing a new fresh install of SPT-AKI 3.4.0.

      Feel free to report back with what worked or didn't work for you. I can't reproduce this issue on my end at this time, so I have no fix for this until I could get my hands on some more information/logs.

    Is this a meme? Or real? If real, how do i turn it off? I went to factory and hit tagilla with 2 grenades (i know they hit because i am using hit marker) and 30 shots of 7.62 BP and he didnt die and one tapped me with flechette to the face KEKW.

  • Whenever I attempt to launch the server with the mod installed, it crashes when attempting to load. I am certain it is alevesthings causing this issue. Any idea on how I might fix this?

    • Which version of SPT-AKI and alevesThings are you running? My latest release is only compatible with SPT 3.2.2 (and probably higher), so if you're running 3.2.1 or lower it won't work. Same goes for my previous release of alevesThings, 3.2.0, it won't work with SPT 3.2.2 or higher.


      It would be helpful if you could run "Aki.Server.exe" in CMD/PowerShell as it should catch the error without it closing out and then copy-paste it here or in a DM.

      I tried downloading earlier versions of the mod, but that didn't help.

    • Yeah, only the latest version works with 3.2.2 atm.

      Putting iron sights on MPR45 has been a dream of mine too, but I've tried and the result was kinda bad ;( No clue if it's something I would be able to fix somehow, but right now it's not something I'm willing to investigate. Sorry!

    Just a small question about this mod before i download it.

    Can i in this mod put anything on any gun

    Example - on M4 put AK-74 handguard, on mount put another mount (sniper scope).

    And if i can put any ammo in to any mag and put any mag into gun

    If not i would be happy if someone send me that mod if this isnt that mod because i cant find it 😂 animedance

    • Nah, not really unfortunately. I think you can do some crazy stuff with mine too, but not that crazy, as I handpick all the customization in a relative "realistic/believable" (up for interpretation) manor.


      The one you're looking for is perhaps Fin's Mishmash Weapons, but it's currently not compatible with 3.1.* as mods made between 3.0.* and 3.1.* are not cross-compatible. Fin might be working on a updated release though, so wait for that if mine is not enough ;)

      Sure, what version of SPT-AKI are you running? I'm asking because I'm currently maintaining both the 3.0.0 and 1.3.1 versions of my mod. Either way, I will add your suggestion in my next release.


      I disabled full-auto for M1A because Alex's AIO already did that, but you can enable it in './alevesThings/config/AllStuff-config.json', look for "Sniper": [, change "M1A Firetype Change": false, into "M1A Firetype Change": true, and save the file 👍

    • Also when I use the SAI jailbreak for m4 and then I added a silencer, the muzzle flash is still there, it would be great if you can remove the muzzle flash from the jailbreak ;)

    • Could you perhaps wait for a bit? I might release a new version soon-ish (sometime in the next few days) where I added full auto to TX-15 amongst other small stuff. Unless a new version SPT-AKI gets released soon, then I would release my next version asap.


      Well, shiii... I tried. I couldn't find a quick solution as it would seem that I need to edit some bundles, which is my least favorite thing to do. I experimented a little at the very least and I did get rid of some smoke and sparks, but the flashes seems to be a hard nut to crack. It do seem like a base game kind of issue and if that's the case, then nah, I won't fix stuff that BSG themselves need to fix and I'm way too crappy with these stuff to be able to figure it out on my own. I'm sorry 🙏

  • If anyones who hads M4a1 3-Burst mode, and not happy with that, follow these steps:

    1. Open with notepad++ or something: alevesThings - modules - adamCAW101-AR.js


    2. Serch with Ctrl + F : adds burst-mode for the 'M4A1'


    3. Erase the burst part


    4. In last, if you modified like this, the 3-Burst mod in M4a1 is gone.

      I might look into it at some point, but right now I'm focusing on making my mod compatible with the next release of SPT-AKI, which may or may not fix/break a lot of things when combined with other mods in the future.

      If you're running the latest release of my mod (1.3.1) then it may be the new config I made as an attempt to limit wacky guns that bots might spawn with.

      You should find the config inside "..\user\mods\alevesThings\config". Open the config in a text editor, find "Load: FreakLimiter": true,, replace true with false and save the file. If you just want to enable 9mm barrels and leave the rest alone, find "MPXplague": true, and do the same as mentioned above.

      It's up to you what addons are enabled or not through my configs. I guess some of the cringe stuff are from adamCAW which I only ported and maintaining through my mod.
