Removes the sharpening effect of painkillers

With BSG removing Sharpening and adding the shitty aberation on using painkillers.
This will no longer be updated as Amands Graphics has an option for this.

this stops the client from updating Sharpness pog


this will set sharpness to 0 tho,
I'm looking into ways to allow the default value from the settings menu to continue to work. :nikitathinking:


HOW TO INSTALL: (this is how to install for AKI 2.3.0 onwards)


1. Open the Zip

2. inside you will see, a BepInEx folder and a user folder.



3. copy these and paste them to your AKI install folder.



4. Done! there is nothing else for you to do.


IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE THE MOD, DELETE THE FOLLOWING:


  • SPT Install / BepInEx / plugins / CWX-DeSharpener.dll (this dll file)

  • Out of interest, would it be possible to have say an adjustable slider in a Configuration Manager menu (f12) that you can set your Sharpness to as a workaround until/if you're able to make it set to in game settings?

    Say I play with 0.6 sharpness, I can slide until I get to 0.6 and then painkillers will "change" the sharpness to 0.6, resulting in no visual difference?

  • so mods are no longer unzipped into the mods folder directly and are now put into the main install folder?

    • for how I have asked you to do this will add a folder to your server and the needed dll into the bepInEx folder


      client-side mods can no longer be in the server mods folder with how BepInEx works

      so to make it easier for people i did it like this and drag to main directory of SPT

  • Tried to download version 1.0.0 as it says in the description its for AKI 2.1.2 but when I try to use it it says in the server that its for AKI 2.2.1. Any way you can help me?

  • this mod is preventing me from loading into the game. gets stuck at the first launch screen.

    • can you check your modules.log and see if there are any errors? You might just be getting the slow loading issue that’s around, if there are no errors just wait, the slow loading is a known issue to the devs, but unsure what causes it

    • what version of EFT and SPT are you on?

    • 12.11 tarkov and 2.0.0 spt

    • thats the reason, this is made for 2.2.1 only
