  • Still works on 3.8.0. Just change the version in the config.

  • Can Confirm this is entirely working on 3.7.1

    Thumbs Up 1
  • this works in 3.6?

    • i managed to get it to work properly again on 3.6.1 :D go to /user/mods/zSamSWAT-LeupoldDEVO/package.json

      change it to

      "akiversion": ">=3.6.*",

save and restart the game u should be good :D

  • Mod doesn't seem to be working for me? Even though I am running SPT 3.5.0 and the latest version of the mod, when I start the server with no other mods at all it looks like this:

    ModLoader: loading 1 mods...

Mod: Leupold D-EVO version: 1.0.0 by: SamSWAT loaded

ModLoader: mod incompatible. It must implement at least one of IPostAkiLoadMod, IPostDBLoadMod, IpreAkiLoadMod

    gteXY5K.png

I did notice that the mod is showing as version 1.0.0. I went to the versions page and made sure to download a fresh copy of the newest version, but it still shows as 1.0.0 in the server console.

  • Just as a heads up, under the Installation tab, it says "SamSWAT-HolosunHS507C" instead of "SamSWAT-LeupoldDEVO".

Love the mod, by the way!

  • This is The Best scope in the game bar none.

If I do have a question it's this: is it the scope or in game settings that make it so when ADS-ing distorts the area above the scope like it would emanate heat? Other than that as I said - there simply is no better scope than this and the idea is great.

    • I think it is a game issue as several other scope mods I have used have had the same thing happen as well. It isn't that big a deal as it is a transparent effect but it is hard to not notice.

      Thumbs Up 1
  • my spt aki ver is 3.3.0 but zSamSWAT-LeupoldDEVO is not compatible with the current version

  • Am I missing something with this mod? The scope is there and works, but the sensitivity is extremely slow when using the bottom scope zoom. I am also using the unified aiming mod.

  • Wow this sight is amazeballs! Thank you kindly for the work involved. For anyone curious it's like the one on the top where you can see both very clearly at the same time. You can also change scope to focus more on the zoomed in one of you desire.

  • is this mod compatible with 3.2.0?

    Heart 1
    • I hope it is cause theres a bunch of samswat im waiting on thatd probably work too. Like the rest of his sights

    • He did it. He updated all of his stuff and I love it.

  • So for some reason i cant put the scope on any of my guns.

    anyone have a fix?

ps there is no errors that apear and it shows up in my inv fine but not in the edit preset or modding menu

  • I got a problem with the sight, the 3.0.0 version overpowers my recoil and It didn't reflects in the stats, I don't know how to fix it :3

  • Just in case someone having similar issue like I do. Or SamSWAT actually reading the comment.

In 3.0.0 this mod doesn't seem to be compatible with zFin-AITweaks

Got this error when I try to boots up server.

    Code
Server is running. Happy playing!! (node:15820) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: TypeError: Cannot read property 'ShortName' of undefined at AITweaks.tempAdjustRarityValues (G:\Others\sp-aki-3.0\user\mods\zFin-AITweaks\src\mod.js:8153:234)... blah blah

Turned out the issue was because zFin-AITweaks attempted to read gear list before this mod loaded.
So if you want to use this mod in 3.0.0 along with zFin-AITweaks (before SamSWAT fixed it)
    Here is the workaround

    • Rename the folder of this mod to xSamSWAT-LeupoldDEVO (so it will load before zFin-AITweaks)
    • Open mod.js within this mod, go to line 16 change zSamSWAT... to xSamSWAT...

    • Just an FYI to this workaround, I found that you can also just rename FAIT to zzFin-AITweaks instead so you dont have to rename every single SamSWAT's mods cause most of his 3.0.0 mods have the z prefix. You also dont need to go to FAIT mod.js (is there even any in FAIT?), you only need to rename the folder for FAIT. So far, I have encountered no problems by simply renaming FAIT folder.

  • I actually own this scope IRL, bought it cause I thought the idea was neat. Really cool to see in game!

  • I love this sight. Very fast and easy to do transitions between short and long distances.

I tried to change the reticle but the dot doesn't change at all. The only thing I was able to change a little was adding a litttle illumination in the Evo 6x optic.

Is there eany way to add or change the holo reticle?

    • Now I know how to do it and no one can stop me :3

    • How hard is it to change?

    • You need UABE Avalonia to unpack/visualice .BUNDLE archives.

Then open save a copy of "scope_leupold_d_evo.bundle".

      Next steps:

      - Pin or link UABEA to taskbar due to make it easier to use it.

      - Open UABEA.

      - Go to up menu, File/Open/Choose the .bundle (it doesn't auto opens the document when you click on the .bundle directly, is a little odd I know).

      - Then click to up and right in the button "Info".

      - Then click on "mark_kobra Texture2D 28 0 -6910120450976504198 196" search allways for Texture2D in "Type" list (fade are the correct archives to edit textures in general, it can appear as other terminations, but now I cannot remember, like fde or something).

      - Then click right-middle button "Plugins".

      - Export texture, I chose .png for the the reticles. But you can use .targa for any other type of textures.

      - Edit with Photoshop and if you wanna keep edidting in the future save it in Photoshop format and then export the .png.

      - Click to "Plugins" again.

      - Click to "Edit texture".

      - Click "Load", choose your edited version of the reticle.

      - Click "Save" on the same "Texture Edit" menu.

      - Click "Esc" button in "Assets Info" menu and click in "Save/Ok".

      - And caution with this step now, danger close.

      - Click on "File/Save" and save the new document with a new name (just change the name with a simple number or letter so you can delete it after that. If you try to save it with the same name, the UABEA will crash, idk why it can't overwrite.

      - In order to save some time, you can just rename the first .bundle and then delete the adedd letter/number in the edited one. Is faster that way.

      - Then take the edited .bundle and overwrite the archive in the optic folder. This is the document root: user/mods/SamSWAT-LeupoldDEVO/bundles/assets/content/items/mods/scopes/scope_leupold_d_evo.bundle.

I think it is all :3

P.D: You can also do it with the x6 Evo reticle named "marks_devo-CAB-aacf90d3fa1cc10e4538ca76eb313810--1651672983708924750".

If you wanna try my version I have no problem in transfer my versions. They are not realistic of course.

      It's a bit tedious but it's easy.

  • Loved the EVO since its inception, your port is heaven gift. Thanks mate <3

  • Hello, this set of sight scopes is very good. Someone carried this sight in odDBA Chinese forum.

I found that there are two problems with this mirror at present ——

    1.the 6x sight may be partially blocked by mechanical sight;

    2. This set of sight scopes can not adjust the density, so it is not convenient to use at a distance.

If possible, I hope to make some improvements in this aspect. Thank you ;)

  • How cool is this scope!

  • I absolutely LOVE it. But it seems like flip-up sights wont recognize the thing and stay up.

  • Whip it good

  • Not sure why, but after purchasing the optic from the flea market (or from Mechanic), it doesn't appear in my stash with the "error" (I put the quotes because it's not a trace error): "No id with leupold_d_evo found". Installed exactly as on the page in the mods folder, no trace errors when I first started up the aki server.

  • This makes me smile. These optics are so incredibly bizarre, and I'm surprised anyone had the motivation to bring this wonderful abomination to Tarkov modding.

    Thank you.

  • this is one of the most innovative optics ever.

  • Amazing stuff, man! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

  • SamSWAT attac, SamSWAT protecc, but most importantly - he creates and ports!
    Thank you!
