Visceral Bodies
This mod adds the ability to walk on and over dead bodies. Making the game feel more realistic and gritty, Gone are the days of having a pile of bodies in a hallway be easily maneuvered, Now you will have to walk around or on them to get through.

Force on people when a grenade explodes on and or near them. (They go flying)
Force when people get shot with bullets. (Example. If you shoot someone in the leg and kill them. U will see his leg go backwards and his feet will slip from under him) -

Love this mod. I would give this mod a 4.5 if I could because there is a small bugs that mutes the sound of bushes when you run into them. I do miss those sounds. Maybe also tone down the bodies movement and make them feel heavier as well.

After kill with a chest shot it will be crazy to see the impact of the second shot "Headshot" like in the John Wick movies

I love the fact that you can now kick corpses around. But they can also easily fuck you up if you're trying to run away from a PMC as you get stuck in the doorway on a corpse lol. Either way, great mod!

Just want to say this is one of my absolute favorite mods! I love walking over the piles of bodies in places like the upper hallway on Factory. Makes this game just that much more brutal.
Not sure if this is even at all possible, but it would be awesome if there was a way to drag bodies, that way if I find a body somewhere out in the open I can drag him back into cover to loot.

Awesome mod. Would it be possible to make bodies heavier so they don't float around quite as much? Although I admit it's hilarious to shoot a scav with a .338 and send him flying

Yeah. iirc, I made the 338 act like Insurgency Sandstorm to where the 50 BMG send them fucking flying. But yeah I need to tone it down, Thought people would find it funny

if that's the case, i beg you to make a "realistic ragdoll" mod which makes them like 10x heavier so they have no knockback at all. i personally really dislike that effect

hi i recently downloaded this mod, is great btw!
but i had some glitches to possible grenade repeating sound or maybe firing sounds without anyone shooting. i dunno if this mod is causing it to manifest but i've seen in the console some commands about grenades. any advice would be great

I love this mod and want it to be amazing. However, when I use the dll I no longer can hear my character moving through brush or tree branches. I uninstalled the mod and the sounds returned, reinstalled they disappeared. Using 3.30 and latest download I'm not using any other mods that would conflict with audio. I uninstalled every other mod -- to no success -- and am running the latest version of the launcher.

Having some issues with the updated .dll file, seems when tossing an rgn and rgo grenade causes the console to spam error messages and a constant exploding grenade effect were the grenade landed tanking fps to the single digits happens when ai throw grenades as well. I tested this issue on a preexisting profile as well as a new profile. Error log text below

Hello, your Visceral Bodies mod is fantastic and a must have mod! Thank you for taking the time to create a great mod. I was wondering if it was possible to fix two things I noticed. 1) With the mod added the sound is missing when you move through bushes or tree limbs. 2) Dead bodies on Woods sometimes float in the air. Bodies appear fine on factory and customs. I haven't tried the other maps. I tested all this by removing only the visceral bodies mod and bush/tree sounds returned and I didn't notice anymore floating bodies on Woods. Thanks for your efforts as it is much appreciated!

How do i get rid of this mod? It seems like deleting the .dll does not do the trick for some reason. AI gets stuck on corpses all day now

Nevermind, i had to create a new profile to revert the changes.

You shouldn't have to create a new save to fix anything. As it doesn't mess with the save at all. and the AI are quite silly so they do tend to sometimes get stuck on corpses

I would argue that it is because it is a bit buggy. People below also mentioned this, but some bodies float in the air after kill. They also have like an area around them that sometimes seems impassible. Especially if they get stuck in this "floating" state. I will test if reinstalling the mod will help, but there is some issues with it. Concept wise it is great, execution wise it still needs a bit of work.

This isn't really a big issue but bodies float like a foot above the ground on woods during mid range combat, it's not a big issue but "MUH EMMERSION!"

Man I love this mod so much but it's so frustrating when raiders and bosses drop a nade at the frame they die, their body literally gets desintegrated. Only the weapon remains and you can't loot them

That happens to me sometimes without this mod back then. Yeah, it's very annoying, which is sometimes I just let them throw nades first before shooting them if I can, especially if they had the thing I needed for a quest.

there seems to be a problem with bushes - no sound when you collide with bushes or trees.
