This mod adds 3 new guns, 2 new calibers, 1 new helmets and 1 new Stim.

REQUIRES CUSTOM QUESTS by TRAP


I'm working a lot, so it will take me a while to update/fix my mods


First, thanks TRON and his tutorial on how to use the Escape From Tarkov SDK, and also thanks to KCH ARMORY and his mods: VKS VYKHLOP 12.7X55 SNIPER RIFLE, base bullet of this mod -> AR-50 .50 BEOWULF.

Installation:

First Install CUSTOM QUESTS

After that install Little Addons

The Additions:

Weapons:


Glock 21 - Basically the glock 17 chambered in .45 ACP :love: (Mechanic LL2/LL3)




Colt M4 chambered in .50 Beowulf - It's not .50 BMG :cursing:(Mechanic LL3).


MP-700 .700 Nitro Express - Be careful the recoil can damage you and your enemy :/ (Jaeger LL4).


VKS Vykhlop 12.7x55 Sniper Rifle - Big boy Ash-12 (Prapor LL3/LL4).

STs-130:

STs-130 12.7x55 Cartridge - Standard bullet for the VKS. Damage: 125 | Penetration: 35

STs-130VPS 12.7x55 Cartridge - increased penetration (expect HUGE bullet drop). Damage: 100 | Penetration: 67

STs-130PT2 12.7x55 Cartridge - increased accuracy (expect BIG bullet drop). Damage: 110 | Penetration: 42

    Issues:

    The SVT-40 Custom Mount doesn't accept fixed/variable zoom scopes that attach direct to the rail like the ELCAN Specter, Valday PS-320 1/6x because a small bug made it impossible to use these scopes.

    Workaround -> Put another mount like the LaRue LT101 QD Tactical Picatinny Riser mount 8o

  • I really do love this mod. Great work!
    I particularly enjoy the 700 Nitro!
    Is there any chance you could make an extra round for it.

    The 45-70 has a copper extreme penetrator round available for it, I thought it would be funny to have that in a 700 nitro! I don't see it in real life, but then again nobody is developing AP rounds for 10-20 guns. (That's the estimated number of 700 nitro's in existence from one source I saw)


    My thought is that it would have a lot of penetration, like 50+, as the 45-70 version almost triples or quadruples the penetration in gel, and also increases hard target penetration significantly. But it would have less damage as a result, Like 250-300 or so. I also thought it could have less of a chance to cause a heavy bleed, but like 95% for a light bleed since it tends to bore through targets. Higher velocity, lower recoil, lighter overall, more accurate, more expensive, you get the idea.

    Lookup the underwood ammo extreme penetrator round for the 45-70, thats the idea I'm going for.
    You can watch videos with the 44 magnum and 357 version of the rounds doing work. the screwdriver head creates crazy cavitation without deforming the bullet.

    I have some questions about the weapons stock presets. Are there any? All the weapons show up stripped of all parts in flea or trader tabs. When editing the weapon preset there are no available sets to choose from and the weapon name will not show up in the weapon preset list until I save a custom one for it. Just asking cuz this happens only to weapons from this mod. Bots with custom presets from Algorithmic Level Progression use these weapons/attachments just fine, however it happens scarcely (probably cuz it has to generate all the vital weapon parts as it generates the bots instead of taking the stock preset and going from there). Is there any way to fix this?

  • Hey bro.. check some of the glock21 45 barrels.

    I currently cannot get the stock 45 barrel, and stock slide to work together. The barrel doesn't register the frame (won't connect to frame.)
    The alpha wolf threaded doesn't wanna work with anything.
    The Moto cut slide won't work with any barrels or "naked frame"

    Everything else seems to be working correctly. Tested on 3.8.3

  • In the very first fashion, the WSSC were with a sliding shutter, not a Marxman, you can do like it in reality

  • Do enjoy looking at the weapons, and details of them but sadly unable to wield them due to entering a match with a VKS and just not have it in my hands, frozen in place and unable to do much but at least it work only within a certain amount

    • In my game it is working. Try the new version. ;)

    • Tested in my hideout, able to wield it, shoot it and reload it and all so when I wake up tomorrow hopefully, I can wield the VKS and the other weapons to see it works upon entering match

  • same problem with the bug and hands so doesnt work :( was looking forward to using the beowolf and glock combo in raid. either way great work when its fixed :)

  • Tried using the .45 Glock and when I pull the gun out, my hands just go to my sides and I end up having to restart my game

    I love this mod, and just throwing out another suggestion just to ponder, would be an attachment to fit all the light machine guns that would allow for all the foregrip options to be available to them?

    • Give it a try and see if it does. The first version of this mod was made well after 3.6.1 was no longer current unfortunately. I don't have a 3.6.1 install anymore so cannot say.

  • I just wanted to stop by and tell you how much I appreciate this mod! To be honest at first I passed it up because it looked weird with the cardboard box hat, but when you started added the new guns/ammo and this latest release with the 700 nitro, it has become one of my favorite mods. I enjoy it as it's realistic for weight and ergo, great bullet textures, even the 700 nitro has good effects, and I personally just enjoy someone that has made a mod with guns out of the norm.

    Along with the before mentioned by others SGT and Kar98 mods, I think another great addition to this mod would be any attachment that could be made fit the AVT to have some form of attachment just because it would be fun :)

  • great addition , im pretty sure the VSK also have a 10 Round mag if i am not wrong ? , and i saw you're using the ASH-12 10 round mag but stretch for the VSK , i can drop you the VSK original 5rn and 10rn mag if you want , im pretty sure i have that somewhere.


    edit : there is no official 10rnd mag lol

  • I have a weird issue. the STs-130 and STs-130VPS ammo work fine, but the STs-PT2 ammo is somehow "incompatible" with the VKS magazine. Not sure how this is happening, but it's what is going on somehow.

    • A kar98kurz and stg44 mod would be an amazing add to this mod. This mod is quickly becoming one I hope keeps getting updated with SPT AKI.

    • Adding a new weapon will take a LOT of work. So I'm just going to add custom ammo.
