Speed Loader 3.10

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

All credits to Nootropix i just fixed it up for latest version nothing changed.

Allows large capacity magazines to be loaded/ unloaded with ammo faster. Works with SPT 3.9.x


This mod increases the speed with which the larger magazines can be loaded and unloaded with ammo,

and the magazine check speed for them.

Use the config file to adjust the speeds and minimum size magazine you want to adjust as you see fit.


The MAXIMUM change to speed is 100, meaning 100%. This gives near instant reloading of mags.

HOWEVER!! Your MagDrills skill will be taken into account too, so you need to adjust for that.

For example, if your MagDrills skill gives 30% reduction in load times, you can only set this mod at up to -70,

if your MagDrills skill gives 20% reduction in load times, you can only set this mod at up to -80, etc.


IF YOU SET IT TO TOTAL MORE THAN 100, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOAD OR UNLOAD MAGS AT ALL!


INSTALL: Just drop the file in the "user > mods" folder :)

      Just go into "package.json" and change the line "SptVersion #" to "akiVersion" to the one you want. (3.8.3)

    • Thanks. I see in the src\mods.ts that these new 3.9.x and 3.10.x versions still have references to "spt-aki". With the release of SPT 3.9.0 (Jul 6, 2024), it was stated by the devs that a major change was made in that all references of \Aki_Data were changed to \SPT_Data, and that ALL 3.8.x mods were not compatible due to that change. Just curious, how is this mod working for 3.9 and 3.10 with the refences still using @SPT-AKI? Again, just curious. Thanks.

    • So i tried changing the version but no mater what i change it to i get an error "Mod Nootropix-SpeedLoader is missing the akiVersion field, most likely due to being out of date and incompatible with the current version of AKI"

    • That field is called sptVersion in the file, you need to change it to say akiVersion and ensure the number matches 3.8.3

      So there are two modifications to the file you have to make. Take a second look to make sure.

  • Right now I have a problem with unloading ammo from mags. I click on "Unload Ammo" but nothing happened. I tried to unistall the mod (even others for speed mag and EasySkill options" but nothing . I hope someone can help me :aquacries: :aquacries:

    • Bugga.... I'm not sure what has happened there.


      If I install mods I'll only install one at a time in case shit goes pear-shaped.


      I also use "SPT-AKI Profile Editor" mod. This can be used to save profiles and comes in very handy with your type of issue because you could roll back to when everything worked.

  • whenever I change the value in the config it’ll save for that session, but if I restart at all it goes back to default. How do I make it stay changed?

    • Just updated... If you get stuck and I don't update the file... Just go into "package.json" and change the line "akiVersion" version to any new version... 3.8.3 :)

  • Will this work if I have the inventory and items tab enabled on SVM?

    • I do not know sorry. All you can do is try.

    • It will probably overwrite or cause a conflict, I see no reason to activate both, just choose one and that's it

    • The inventory and items tab has tons of options that I have enabled. I set time to load mags back to 1 and it works fine with this mod.

    • I also noticed a werid bug that you cant change items that are previously assigned to a hotkey. Meaning you cant drag it, rebind, and not even discard. Not sure if others are getting this.
