Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.
Your secure container is no longer safe. Items inside will be deleted on death but you keep the container.
This can optionally be configured to also delete items from special slots on death, specify items in either location that won't be deleted, and only have a chance of deleting items.
Exempt Items
Exempt items will *only* affect this mod's feature, it does not affect normal deletion. This means if you make the Multitool exempt, it will still be deleted if it's in your pocket or backpack, but not if it's in a special slot.
The Mark of the Unheard and DSPT are exempt by default.
The list requires the item ID, you can find these here by searching for an item by name. An item's parent ID is also valid, for example including "550aa4cd4bdc2dd8348b456c" will allow you to keep any suppresssors in your secure container when you die.
Remove Secure Container Filter
This has the same effect as the SVM option.
This allows you to put any item that will fit into your secure container. With the other features of the mod, the secure container just becomes extra in-raid space, so this helps avoid some loot juggling.
Deletion Chance
Items will only have a chance (default 100%) of being deleted.
There are options available to have a chance of deleting all items together or individually. Both options can be used together or alone.

a side note, i wish tarkov was balanced like the idea of your mod, secure containers are NOT the crutch option, they should have an important con of their own, like everything in tarkov

very interesting, your mod helps balance the fact i can put anything in the secure slots, not they can be removed aswell. Love the chance effects of the stuff in the secure container being deleted, mayhaps you should advertise that config more on your mods front page to grab people's attention

SPT_Data==>Server==>configs==>lostondeath.json
allows you to designate whether you loose the item in that slot or not on death as well as quest items

Enabling the setting for special slots there didn't do anything, at least on 3.8.3. I kept special slot items (DSP and multitool) when I died.
If it did work, you could softlock yourself if you ever died with your DSP and no longer be able to access Lightkeeper unless I'm unaware of a way to reacquire it.
Enabling the setting for secure container there deletes the container itself, not just its contents.

Not sure too many people want this mod... would you consider doing something a bit different?
How about you can set a % chance that any item in your inventory (optionally including or not secure containers) is deleted on death.
Would be kind of like Revingly's Never Lose Equipments except you could set a chance for any item to be deleted... so for example if you have it set to 10% then any item on you would have a 10% chance of being deleted and a 90% chance of not. People could then make it as hardcore or as softcore as they like. I would love that type of mod even more than NLE.

Someone sent me a DM requesting this feature, it was added in the 2.1.0 update.

I kind of see that, but it only applies to items in the secure container, right? What I'm requesting is that the percent chance applies to ALL equipped items (and ideally with an option of excluding the secure container, like the base game). So in other words if I set it to 10, I have a 10% chance of any item on me (helmet, armor, gun, items in backpack, the backpack itself) being lost, but a 0% chance of items in my secured container (and special slots) of being lost.
So it's kind of like mixing Never Lose Equipments with your current mod (into an ideal mod!). But your current percent chances only apply to items in secure container and special slots, right?

That is correct. In that case, doesn't seem to be within the scope of this mod. If someone wants to combine the mod concepts, they're more than welcome.
