HotDog's 5.56x50mmE Adar Cartridge 1.0.3

What does this add?

This mod adds 3 new rounds to the game.


How do I use them?

Load em into any stanag mag that takes them and load that mag into the Adar.

The 5.56x50mmE round was designed by Viktor Mirovoy, also known as Арматура Строганов or Rebar Stroganoff.

Viktor was a Russian extremist who fought the government any way he could. Viktor was captured in the early 2000s, due to his ability to create makeshift munitions they assigned him to an experimental program. It was under this program that Viktor designed these three rounds specifically for the Adar rifle.


How do I install it?

Download the mod, open the zipped file, open "556x50mmE-(version)", and drag the "user" file into your SPT directory!

  • Is it possible to adapt it to other weapons? Is this option being considered?

    • Technically I can adapt this for other weapons but I strictly wanted this for the adar so it could serve as more of a Mk-12 type rifle! I may push the ammo to work for the Lone Star TX 15 but I unno lol. Kinda burnt out for a while.

  • Thank you for an awesome Mod!!! One detail you could add, though... .50 Beowulf has the metric designation 12.7x42mmRB. There's nothing 5.56 about them! They're so fat (almost as big as a 20 gauge shot shell) that a normal 30 rd 5.56 mag can only take 10 rounds in a single stack. =O All the same, love your work and I'll use it no matter what it's called! :) :) :)

    • I thought about making a unique mag for this ammo but decided I'd rather have more customization regarding mags! I regret to inform you I may not update any of my mods to 3.10 as it changes a bunch of id related code.
