M-27 "Heavy Hitter" Grenade 1.0.0

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.

The M-27 "Heavy Hitter" Grenade is designed for taking out larger groups of enemy combatants at long range. Detonates upon impact within 6 seconds. Use with extreme caution.

MOD INSTALLATION

Unzip the mod package directly to your EFT game folder. The mod

should install into the following EFT path:


user

\--- mods

\--- M27-Heavy-Hitter



CONFIG FILE

My suggestion would be to keep the configuration parameters the way

they have been set up in the mod. This maintains the general lore

surrounding the M-27; obviously changing any parameter (which you can

freely do) also changes the intended characteristics of the grenade.


However, if you must, you can change the provided grenade parameters

in the "config.json" file.


IN-GAME AVAILABILITY

You can purchase the M-27 grenade, which is based off the M-67, from

Prapor immediately at Level 1 loyalty for 15440 roubles, which equates

to roughly $150 USD in today's real-life currency conversion.

At some point, I would like to learn how to create an actual resource
image for the M-27 to use in-game (in order to separate its appearance
from the M-67).

The M-27 will also show up in the pockets, combat vests, or back packs
of fallen bots when you loot them. In my testing, however, I have not
experienced any bot using the M-27 against my player character.



IN-GAME POTENTIAL

The screen-shot below is from a "Ground Zero" raid conducted on Dec 21, 2024
where I wiped out a group of nine (9) BirdEye variant bosses with one M-27 grenade.

  • So my game bugs when I’m hit by one of these grenades chest stomach torso and legs all black out head and arms are dark red. I can’t open inventory run regular be targeted by ai or extract lol

  • I run it with SAIN and PMCs and scav throw them at me. Is there a way to disable them having it? Because they have grenade aimbot and plus such a big boom its impossible to survive.
    Also i noticed that these grenades dont work for grenadier quest.

      I've been playing with the M-27 mod for a while now and have never had an enemy combatant toss one at me. That doesn't mean it won't/doesn't happen; I've just never seen it in my own game play.

    • I do run SAIN on extremely difficult PMC settings tho. =O

  • @CptMoreGun, a little confused by this statement "Detonates upon impact within 6 seconds." If it detonates "on impact", what does the 6 seconds mean? Thanks

    • I wasn't quite sure how to express that - - but -- the configuration is set to explode on impact, but also has a 6 second fuse timer applied. So, your explosion will occur either when the grenade impacts an object (within the 6 second fuse timer), or when the 6 second fuse timer expires; whichever comes first.

      Hope that clarifies.

    • I just tried this grenade in woods I experienced that 0.25sec delay the grenade is basically a Impact nade with a shorter .05sec as it tapped a branch upon throw and killed me within its 22-28m radius so it's very deadly if you are throwing it through a window (unless it's not 0.25sec) or near objects

      So, recommend using this grenade when you are very clear away from objects or at least reduce the Min and max range if needed
