Adjustable Container Filters 1.0.3

Want to adjust container filters on a per item basis, look no further!

  • Version 1.0.3

    Added support for containers with multiple grid layouts. Think Theta container and specific backpacks that have multiple slots. But also modded containers.

    The config did not change.

    Tested it for like 5 minutes but it worked as expected, let me know.

    Edit: Whoops! Uploaded the wrong version. If you don't have the fix for multi grids, then just redownload.

  • Version 1.0.2

    Added the Mr. Holodilnick and Lucky Scav Junk box. While its easy for anybody to add them to the config I do want the mod to have all vanilla containers listed by default.

  • Version 1.0.1

    Fixed a mistake in regards to the containers name and server logging. Now when the mod logs container updates at startup it will use the name set in the config file for easier reading.

  • Version 1.0.0

  • Hilarious thumbnail. Good mod.

    Thumbs Up 1
  • Works fine, placed on top of most mods, if you have mods that change add secure containers and more, add them to the list in the "containers" and use the item finder to play around with the filters, had to use the filters in the "raid overhaul" special container json file as well, since it's what I use. If not, it behaves in a hybrid way. ie. The main slots are filtered but the added (custom spaces) are not ! lol

    • This is good to know. I just encountered this today with some containers added by pack n strap and only one of the spaces updating. I might have to see if theres a way for me to target these split containers.

      But, I'll add it to known issues for future reference.

      Looking at how pack n strap does it, it should be possible, will just need to sit down and figure it out. You said raid overhaul also has some containers as well. I'll check it out also.

    • I've got an update about to publish that fixes this.

      Heart 1
    • Raid overhaul has the "requisitions office trader" that offers custom barter quests for upgraded custom secure containers, (just custom name + custom extra space) For now, I'll just add all I do in your mod to that as well, but having the vanilla containers set how I want is perfect, it makes secure progression WAY more engaging !!! Progressively add items as you go along. My waist pouch and custom one can only hold sicc pouches and info items, no ammo no barter special weapons mods etc...as I upgrade I'll add ammo, health etc ! it's perfect ! The hardcore rules is interesting but it's a general ruleset. Makes things stale after a while I reckon...

    • Sounds fun. Glad this mod helps you

  • I added filters and the IDs don't exists ? but look at this for example:

    "6621b12c9f46c3eb4a0c8f40": {

    "name": "Custom Waist Pouch",

    "removeFilters": false,

    "ExcludedFilter": [

    "5447b5f14bdc2d61278b4567",

    "5447b5fc4bdc2d87278b4567",

    "5c1262a286f7743bbe2c3f76"

    ],

    "Filter": [

    "5d1b5e94d7ad1a2b865a96b0",

    "5c1d0c5f86f7744bb2683cf0",

    "5c093ca986f7740a1b2617e3"

    ]

    }, It's a custom secure container just added this (the default pouch is the same apart from name and id) not working. The pouch is from the requisitions office questline from raid overhaul mod. Ids are from: https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/doc/…ces-item-properties-list/

    • Make sure the mod loads after any mod that adds items that you will want to add to the config.

      Thumbs Up 1
    • Just did that, but some IDs don't work ? is this accurate ? https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/doc/…ces-item-properties-list/

    • I don't recognize that list. If your looking for vanilla item ids use this website: SPT-ItemFinder

      If your trying to use mod ids, then you will have to look for the ids in the mod files. Alternatively you could use THIS mod to see item ids in the tool tips of items. I use it when looking for mod item ids. You will have to use the TLP id if you use that mod I believe.

      Heart 1
    • Yeah, many ids from that list don't appear on the item finder. I added the TLP ID of that custom mod, now I just need to filter categories from the item finder. I'll test and come back.

  • So, can I have custom filters for say, waist pouch and alpha, etc ? I mean, that takes secure container progression to a new level ! Can you please post an example of a secure container filter where I allow 'x' and deny 'Y' don't matter what ids, just the layout.

    • Its identical to all the other filters I have in the mod, I even have those containers listed. Scroll down in the config to find all the secure containers.

      "5732ee6a24597719ae0c0281": {

      "name": "Waist Pouch",

      "removeFilters": false,

      "ExcludedFilter": [

      "543be5dd4bdc2deb348b4569",

      "5c99f98d86f7745c314214b3"

      ],

      "Filter": [

      "5448bc234bdc2d3c308b4569"

      ]

      },

      The above example would ban all money and key type items from the waist pouch but allow all magazines.

      If you ban a category of items you can't then allow specific items from said category. Thats how it works while I was testing it.

    • I got to do some editing ! lol thanks

  • Missing container id

    Mr. Holodilnick thermal bag: "5c093db286f7740a1b2617e3"

    Lucky Scav Junk box: "5b7c710788a4506dec015957"

    "Key Case" My game doesn't recognize it, I don't know what it's supposed to be.

    • Key case is a case from a back port mod. I think its in base spt just not obtanable and shows up in cyrilic. You can remove it from the config if you want, but it shouldn't case issues anyways, I built in checks to make sure items actually exist in the server database.

      And feel free to add more cases to config. It will take any that you want to add.

    • I went ahead and added those two containers. I thought about it and I do want the mod to have all vanilla containers by default for most users ease of access. And I now realize that the key case I got the id from tarkynator.com when looking for cases to add to the config and didn't check the item finder website.

    • Item finder is the best to find updated item id.

  • does it conflict at all with SVM when changing container sizes?

    • I wouldn't think so. I don't touch container sizes. I would say make sure this mod loads late in the load order after all mods that touch containers though.

  • thanks in advance. will be testing later but it should help ease my auto gear sorting setup cuz i wanna play more not inv manage more right XD
