Adjusts PMC combat behavior to be reactive, fair, and fun

A PMC focused SAIN preset targeting challenging but fair PMC encounters with improved AI reactivity. This preset try's to eliminates some of the frustrating AI reactivity mechanics while maintaining tactical difficulty through better bot behavior. Minimal adjustments maid to BOSS/ROUGE/CULTISTS and SCAVS other than global modifiers. Most if not all are on the default harder PMC preset settings as I find them fine.

This is also what I find fun, and that taste might not transfer. I try to have around a 1/3 raid death to keep the content interesting but still maintain a slight power fantasy with it being single player.

Core Goals:

Challenging but Fair: Maintains difficulty while trying to eliminate high accuracy and instant reactions from bots. Bots are aggressive and smart, but give you a fighting chance to react and outplay them.


Dynamic Combat: Emphasizes movement, positioning, and tactical play over static cover shooting. Bots actively reposition and respond to your tactics faster then the default presets.


Difficulty Scaling: Each difficulty level provides an appropriate challenge curve, from forgiving (Easy) to hardcore (Impossible) without unfair advantages.


Recommended Setup:
ABPS with 10% Easy, 50% Normal, 30% Hard, 10% Impossible bots spread. Or adjust your method of bot difficulty.

Drop BepInEx folder into SPTarkov root directory, and select the preset from the SAIN config menu

    • Shibdibs Live Like Preset is really good and if you're after a more punishing preset I would recommend that one. I personally like FEAR and the way the AI handles the player and am trying to mimic that more. AI is isn't going to push you hard, but make you feel like it is. If that makes sense.
