See Item Value 0.0.2

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

See the trader value of an item when inspecting it, in or out of raid!

Adds an attribute to every items' inspect page, this value shows the full price of the item to traders.

Installation

First download my modloader and extract into user/mods/ in your Tarkov game folder (If you keep your SPT server separate from Tarkov you may need to create this folder). Next download this mod and extract it as well. The folder should end up looking like this:

OjozWHm.png

Compatibility

Compiled versions are for Tarkov 0.12.10.12893, SPT 1.5.0-1.6.0. Although you may have some luck compiling the source against other versions.

Examples

M4 - Price including all attachments, mag, ammo, etc.

Buckshot - Price for whole stack.

Troubleshooting

  • Check your Tarkov version. The compiled version of the modloader only supports 0.12.10.12893 currently.
  • Check the log files in the Logs/ folder in your Tarkov folder.
  • If none of this helps, please upload your Logs/ folder as a zip file and add a comment here, I'm happy to take a look
  • Version 0.0.2

    Bugfix:

    • fix for an issue where items inside of certain containers would be missed.
  • Version 0.0.1

  • Hey all, I've seen your issues and have a new release of the modloader (here) that no longer only supports 1.6.0.

If there are any further issues the new location for logs is just the 'Logs/' folder in your Tarkov directory, please zip these up and attach them to a comment.

(shout out gleeen, I'd not realised that the aki-common module was added in 1.6.0)

    Thanks 1
  • Please update ;(

  • I hope you update this mod.

This mod was one of the most useful on this website by far!

  • Update to 2.0.1/2.0 please thank you!

  • Update Please. :)

  • is there any adjustments i can do to get program to match with trader sale prices. there is a huge difference

  • as the last poster said. Both the mod and the loader are missing the .json files...

So in this current release the mod is unuseable

    Thanks 1 Sad 1
    • Download both Modloader and ItemValue then extract them both into one folder.

  • Both this and the Modloader are missing the .Json

  • i find the value listed and value given doesnt match for me. is their an ingame mechanic affecting variance?

    • just wondering if i need to adjust anything. the value indicated isnt nearly what the traders give or flea.

    • Have the same problem, nor the traders or the flea match the price, sometimes huge differences

    • 556 ssa ap stack is 60 billion per slot :P

  • THE KING.

  • The reason why this mod doesn't load properly may be because the KcY's Modloader only supports 1.6 or later.

KcY's Modloader requires "EscapeFromTarkov_Data\Managed\Aki.Common.dll", but since it was added after 1.6, 1.5.1 fails.

I downloaded SPT-AKI 1.6 and copied the "EscapeFromTarkov_Data\Managed\Aki.Common.dll" to 1.5.1 and the mod loaded. Try it at your own risk.

    • Yeah don't do this. Wait for the mod to be updated to use server code from 1.5.1 or wait for 2.0 stable to release lul. Broke my extracts first raid, and have since reverted.

    • Makes sense.

  • Yeah same issue as some of the others. No modules.log now, and the mod doesn't load server side. Is this an issue with already existing profiles perhaps? Running 12.10.12893 on AKI 1.5.1

    Logs/Errors.log throws this.

    • Im about to go try on 1.6.0 and then BE ill update ya if it work there :)

  • Hey, I have an issue of the modloader not actually Loading I think.
    https://prnt.sc/1ez3peh

There is no Log created (module.log is MIA) and ingame it doesnt show the rouble value. why no clue.

    • Hey, sorry to hear that. Would you be able to send over the both logs folders, the one in the root of Tarkov 'Logs/' and the SPT one 'user/logs/'. Also just to double check you're on Tarkov 0.12.10.12893?

      https://prnt.sc/1ez9qio
      https://prnt.sc/1eze818

I even looked for a Module.log throughout my Drive yet nothing to be found.

So ya im at a lost. it is what it is I guess might have a pathing issue for the log or something.

    • Another check, your "SPTarkov" folder also contains tarkov, and not just the server, right? Also the Tarkov Logs folder would still be handy, usually looks like thiselaZBzM.png

    • here for the files in the tarkov logs

      https://easyupload.io/wq6x3b

and here is the picture of my SPTarkov folder.
      https://prnt.sc/1f1lbi8

Edits; Ill be doing some trouble testing. I had a BE installation ill try to remove it as well
and maybe see if the "pathing is bad in the registry or something" ill get back to you on that subject! thanks for the help so far :)

    • Hmmm wonder if thats my issue.

  • im not getting the prices of app and traders to line up. traders and flea are way less then indicated. do i need to make adjustments somewhere?

  • Yeah see for yourself, it isn't showing up as far as I can tell.

    https://easyupload.io/5b5rk1

    • If you see the pinned comment: Check the log file at user/logs/module.log (as this is a client mod it won't appear in server.log)

    • I don't see module.log, just server.log.

    • If you're on 1.5.1 or bleeding edge it wont work.

  • I know this is out of context of this mod but kind in the same.
But do you think It could be possible to make a mod/implement a Quest/hideout Requirement on the item too under the rouble price? (that im sure you could) but one that could track how many left you need and such.
(only if u started on a fresh account) cause on going account would be a pain to calculate I think.

    Thanks ^^

    • isnt that already a thing.. white for found in raid. yeah circle checkmark for quest item? doesnt track number left needed but tells u if its needed for a current quest

    • What I meant is Tracking for upcomming quest not just the one you need currently, exemple
You dont have the Quest Bad habit, yet it say you need 5 malboro, strike, wilston cigarettes.

If you understand what I mean by that. Like a Checklist ingame on the item by itself

  • Hi all, for everyone having issues:

    • First install the modloader (apologies the link was broken, direct link here) to your user/mods/ folder in SPT. The folder should look like this:
      • INPf95p.png
    • Next download this mod (direct link here) to your user/mods/ folder in SPT. The folder should look like this:
      • OjozWHm.png

If you run SPT and the mod still doesn't appear to be working:

    • Check your Tarkov version. The compiled version of the mod only supports 0.12.10.12893 currently.
    • Check the log file at user/logs/module.log (as this is a client mod it won't appear in server.log), the contents should look something like this:
      • 6ZrH4Ur.png
    • If none of this helps, please upload your user/logs/module.log file and the Logs/ folder as a zip file and add a comment here, I'm happy to take a look

Thanks @90eu for assisting people, I've been at work today so haven't had much chance to check in.

    • got it working. thanks. one adjustment i had to make was when i extracted item value it created a keyloader folder within the keyloader folder ( which had the .json files) so i had to cut and paste to delete the extra folder

    • Good to hear it's working ^^

For the 2 folders issue, make sure your extracting both into user/mods/ and not extracting the mod inside the loader folder unintentionally.

    • No problem, thank you for making the mod it's very useful

  • For everyone having a problem I found the solution:

On the GitHub page on the right press the +2 releases then go to base release, there you will find

    "kcy-modloader.0.0.1.zip" <---- direct download link

I would send a picture but it requires a link and I'm too lazy. Once you download the modloader place the folder into your user/mods folder and since I assume your downloading item value mod place the "ItemValue.dll" into the kcy-modloader folder and you should get the outcome that KcY shows below.

Ill try to reply to you, so let me know if this worked or if your confused etc ill try to help

    • I have it installed correctly but I don't see it working nor does it show up in the loaded mods with my server log.

    • You should ask in the guilded chat or wait till KcY replies. If you have it installed correctly then I don't know anything else to try as I've never heard/seen that before.

The only thing other than that I can say is to check over once again, make sure it's where it's supposed to be and looks exactly like the picture KcY posted cause it works for me. It even showed up in the server log on the bleeding edge 12.11 version and it doesn't even work on there. The picture is below or heres a link -----------------------------------------------------------vvvvvvvvvvv

    • LQzYkNj

    • Check KcY's comment/ the pinned comment, sorry I couldn't help but im sure you'll find the solution.

  • im having issues as well. when i extract modloader i get tarkovloader and alot of mod folders. when i put in key value and run server it says package.json not found and gives error

    • check my comment above it might help

  • Can you tell me how to install the mod in more detail? I did everything according to the instructions, but the folder is still empty

  • I installed it in the right format such as your example, doesn't seem to work.

  • I apologize. But I don't understand English very well. But could you please reassemble your archives and fill them in again after checking everything again. It seems to me or something is missing in them. Collect the loader and the mod in one archive if, as I understand, they should work in conjunction. Or release a video with a step-by-step installation of the mod.

    • Hi, here's a screenshot of what your folder should look like once you've got both the Modloader and the See Item Value mod installed:

      1xX3I2m.png

If your folder looks like this and you are still having issues could you attach a zip of the 'Logs' folder in your SPT-AKI install.

    • I have to go to work in 5 hours. I'll put together a detailed report as soon as I get back. I'm sorry to distract you.

    • No problem at all, have a good day ^^

  • I LIke this concept. i currently just senko modapi for weather adjusting. will this conflict since i need your mod manager for it?

    • Hey, glad you like it :) . There should be no issues at all, I'd be very surprised if my modloader mods conflict with anything else on the site.
