Another legendary weapon updated and tuned!
ONE thing the document below doesn't cover, is my muzzle adapter experiment. I added the Tiger Rock mosin adapter the the standard barrel, and in MY items file have been using the Daniel Defense muzzle brake as a secondary adapter. Started out so i could attach the oil filter suppressor to anything i wanted without having a gap, and evolved into me trying to make any muzzle device work on any weapon without having to change a bunch of item compatibilities. I'll add a few more adapters to the barrels in the next update. I have been playing with this for a few weeks and completely forgot about it so it should all be working as intended, unlike the SAA yesterday.
Credits go to Choccy, who is on a hiatus and has given indirect permission to anyone wanting to update his mods as long as credit is given and the license remains the same. If you want to use the new ammo types in your own mod, feel free, just abide by Choccy's wishes.
Original mod(not required): Walther WA 2000 Sniper RifleWalther WA-2000 Realism and Ammo update
Changes Overview
This document details all changes made to the Walther WA-2000 sniper rifle and its
ammunition in the mod. The updates include adjustments to the weapon’s base stats,
detailed specifications for four .300 Winchester Magnum ammo types (FMJ, HP, Tracer,
and AP), and a range of attachments with their effects. These changes ensure realistic
performance for a precision bullpup sniper rifle, optimized for a skilled marksman capable
of long-range accuracy and control. A short history of the WA-2000 and its ammo types
is included, along with reasoning for each modification to enhance gameplay and realism.History of the Walther WA-2000
The Walther WA-2000, introduced in the 1980s by the German manufacturer Walther,
is a semi-automatic bullpup sniper rifle designed for law enforcement and military precision shooting. Chambered primarily in .300 Winchester Magnum, it was developed in response to a demand for a compact, highly accurate rifle following the 1972 Munich
Olympics attack, where maneuverability and precision were critical. Its bullpup configuration placing the action behind the trigger allowedfor a long barrel in a shorter overall package, making it unique among sniper rifles of its time. Only 176 units were produced due to its high cost and complexity, making it a rare and iconic firearm. In the game, the WA-2000 reflects this legacy as a top-tier sniper rifle,
blending historical authenticity with practical customization. We are going to pretend that Walther managed to sell a major contract and that they are relatively common among counter terrorism, SF units, and Private Operators. (There is a clone being made here in the US, but I haven't seen recent updates.)
Changes to the WA-2000
The WA-2000’s base stats have been tuned to reflect its real-world precision and bullpup
design, optimized for a skilled sniper. Below are the changes and their reasoning:
• Weight: Set to 4.5 kg (base, adjusted for attachments).
– Reasoning: The real WA-2000 weighs approximately 6.95 kg, but the in-game weight
is reduced for balance, reflecting a stripped-down version suitable for agile gameplay
while retaining its hefty feel. Attachments adjust this further as needed.
• Ergonomics: Set to 42.
– Reasoning: The bullpup layout improves handling over traditional rifles, and this
value reflects a skilled user’s ability to wield it effectively, balancing realism with
gameplay fluidity.
• Recoil: RecoilForceUp: 450, RecoilForceBack: 900.
– Reasoning: The .300 Winchester Magnum produces significant recoil, but these
values are manageable for a trained marksman, allowing for quick follow-up shotskey
for a semi-automatic sniper rifle in dynamic engagements.
• Accuracy: CenterOfImpact: 0.01 (approximately 1 MOA).
– Reasoning: The WA-2000 is renowned for sub-MOA accuracy in real life. This stat
ensures pinpoint precision, rewarding skilled aim at long ranges, true to its historical
design.
• Fire Rate: bFirerate: 120 (2-3 rounds per second).
– Reasoning: As a semi-automatic rifle, the WA-2000 allows rapid shots compared
to bolt-action counterparts. This rate reflects a skilled user’s trigger discipline,
enhancing its combat versatility.
• Iron Sight Range: Set to 100 meters.
– Reasoning: While typically used with optics, the 100-meter iron sight range suits
close-to-mid-range engagements, with scopes extending its reachaligned with its
real-world adaptability.Changes to .300 Winchester Magnum Ammo
The WA-2000 uses four .300 Winchester Magnum ammo types, each based on real-world
counterparts. Below are their details, histories, applications, and reasoning for changes.
.300 Winchester Magnum Sierra MatchKing 190gr FMJ
• History: Introduced by Sierra Bullets in the 1950s, the MatchKing line became a
gold standard for precision shooters. The 190-grain .300 Winchester Magnum variant
excels in long-range competitions due to its high ballistic coefficient.
• Real-World Applications: Used in sniper training and competitive shooting, prized
for accuracy over penetration, especially in military and civilian marksmanship events. Can't forget, Chris Kyle's preferred cartridge!
• Stats:
– Damage: 88
– Penetration: 45
– Bullet Velocity: 880 m/s
– Fragmentation Chance: 20%
– Ricochet Chance: 48%
– Armor Damage: 48%
• Reasoning: Stats emphasize precision and moderate penetration, mirroring its realworld role as a match-grade round. High velocity and accuracy make it ideal for
long-range headshots against armored foes, balanced by lower damage for gameplay
fairness.
• Flea Price: 1155
.300 Winchester Magnum InterLock HP
• History: Hornadys InterLock design, launched in the 1970s, revolutionized hollow
point bullets by locking the core and jacket together, ensuring reliable expansion. The
180-grain .300 Win Mag version is a hunting staple.
• Real-World Applications: Popular for big game hunting (e.g., elk, bear), where its
expansion delivers devastating wounds while minimizing over-penetration, also used
in law enforcement for its stopping power. (I once field cleaned a buck with a 300 win mag interlok...yeah its nasty)
• Stats:
– Damage: 95
– Penetration: 28
– Bullet Velocity: 899 m/s
– Fragmentation Chance: 70%
– Heavy Bleeding Chance: 38%
– Armor Damage: 48%
• Reasoning: High damage and fragmentation reflect its hunting roots, excelling against
unarmored targets. Lower penetration balances its lethality, making it a situational
choice for flesh damage over armor piercing.
• Flea Price: 845
.300 Winchester Magnum A191 Tracer
• History: Tracer rounds date back to World War I, with the A191 variant developed
for modern military use. The .300 Win Mag tracer aids snipers in tracking shots,
especially in low-light conditions.
• Real-World Applications: Employed in military training and combat to adjust
aim at long ranges, its glowing path enhances situational awareness for snipers and
spotters.
• Stats:
– Damage: 75
– Penetration: 58
– Bullet Velocity: 890 m/s
– Fragmentation Chance: 14%
– Armor Damage: 68%
• Reasoning: Balanced stats with high penetration and armor damage reflect its military utility, while lower damage ensures its not overpowered. The tracer effect aids
visibility, adding tactical depth.
• Flea Price: 1200
.300 Winchester Magnum Swiss P AP
• History: Swiss P armor-piercing rounds, featuring tungsten carbide cores, emerged
in the late 20th century to counter light armor. The 196-grain .300 Win Mag version
is a specialized anti-material round.
• Real-World Applications: Used by military and law enforcement to penetrate vehicle armor, barriers, or fortified positions, offering precision with destructive capability.
• Stats:
– Damage: 78
– Penetration: 60
– Bullet Velocity: 855 m/s
– Fragmentation Chance: 13%
– Armor Damage: 68%
• Reasoning: Top-tier penetration and armor damage mirror its real-world anti-armor
role, with moderate damage keeping it balanced. Slightly lower velocity reflects the
heavier core, adding realism.
• Flea Price: 1500
Attachments
The WA-2000 supports a variety of attachments, enhancing its versatility. Below are the
additions and their reasoning:
• Magazines: WA2000_MAG (6-round), WA2000_MAG10 (10-round), WA2000_MAG15
(15-round).
– Reasoning: The real WA-2000 used a 6-round magazine, but larger options (10
and 15) are added for gameplay flexibility, reflecting aftermarket possibilities while
keeping the base authentic.
• Bipod: WA2000_BIPOD (reduces recoil when deployed).
– Reasoning: A common sniper accessory, it stabilizes shots at long range, aligning
with the WA-2000s precision focus.
• Handguards: WA2000_HANDGUARD (standard), WA2000_SPECHANDGUARD
(tactical with rails).
– Reasoning: The tactical version adds modularity for modern attachments, enhancing customization while the standard retains historical accuracy.
• Barrels: WA2000_BARREL (standard), WA2000_HVYBARREL (increases accuracy), WA2000_EXTBARREL (boosts velocity), WA2000_INTGRLBARREL (balanced).
– Reasoning: Variants allow players to tweak performance for precision, velocity for range, or balance; mimicking real-world barrel options.
• Muzzles: WA2000_MUZZLE (muzzle brake, reduces recoil).
– Reasoning: Reduces the .300 Win Mags kick, improving control for rapid shots, a
practical upgrade for a semi-auto sniper.
• Grips: WA2000_GRIP (standard), WA2000_TACGRIP (improves ergonomics), WA2000_LIGHTG(reduces weight).
– Reasoning: Options cater to handling preferences, reflecting real customization
trends for comfort or agility.
• Stocks: WA2000_PAD (standard), WA2000_SOFTPAD (reduces recoil).
– Reasoning: The soft pad mitigates recoil further, enhancing comfort for sustained
use, a plausible upgrade.
• Scopes: S&B_1X8 (1-8x), S&B_3X12 (3-12x), S&B_5X25 (5-25x).
– Reasoning: Variable magnification suits all ranges, from close-quarters to extreme
distances, matching the WA-2000s sniper role.
Notes
- The WA-2000 mod preserves its original structure (loot spawns, bot integration, trader
settings), with only the changes to ammo and stat adjustments made.- Bot configurations (e.g., Shturman, FollowerBirdeye) showcase practical setups, detailed in-game for inspiration.
- Stats and attachments are tuned to reflect historical ballistics and a skilled users proficiency, optimizing the WA-2000 for precision and versatility.
- Choccy's last version was 1.0.5, this is 1.1.0 to indicate the major changes and change in who is maintaining it.
-
Is it possible that this prevents heli crashes from spawning? I feel like i havent seen a single one since installing, but there's no errors in the log that would indicate prevention of heli crash spawns.
EDIT: Turning the spawn rate up to 100% has them spawning now, i would assume that it's something to do with the raid timer in Raid Overhaul that reduces the default 20% rate down to nearly impossible. -

I did this for myself and a few friends but decided to upload for anyone else that wants the Peacemaker to make you feel a bit more realistic or like Billy The Kid. Grok3 did most the work tbh because my last unity class was in 2017 and i am lazy af. I'm a gunsmith/competition reloader but im lazy.. so I had it research The Peacemaker, various gunslingers, real ballistic studies and surgeon reports from back in the day and update the original mod.ts file.. IDK, IM ADHD OKAY AND IT TOOK 10 MINUTES.
I'll add some more ammo types like HP, silver cast, lead cast with tungsten core, ect.
Choccy is on hiatus and has given anyone permission to update/reupload. His requests have been met.

Changes Overview
This document details all changes made to the Colt Single Action Army (SAA) ”Peacemaker” revolver and its ammunition in the mod.ts.The changes include adjustments to the Peacemaker’s stats, modifications to the .45 Colt ammunition, and the addition of three new calibers (.44-40 Winchester, .38-40 Winchester, and .32-20 Winchester) with their respective cylinders. These updates ensure realistic
performance for a 7-inch barrel, chrome-plated Peacemaker with ivory grips, optimized
for a highly skilled user (akin to Billy the Kid) who can wield it with speed, accuracy, and
lethality. All changes maintain the original mod structure and add only the requested
features.
Changes to the Peacemaker
The Peacemaker’s stats were adjusted to reflect its real-world characteristics with a 7-
inch barrel, chrome plating, and ivory grips, while accounting for the user’s high proficiency with single-action revolvers. Below are the changes and their reasoning:
• Weight: Reduced from 1.048 kg to 1.02 kg.
– Reasoning: A real Colt SAA with a 7-inch barrel and ivory grips weighs approximately 2.25 lbs (1.02 kg). The reduction aligns with historical data, accounting
for the chrome plating’s negligible weight increase.
• Ergonomics: Increased from 95 to 98.
– Reasoning: Ivory grips and the user’s expertise improve handling, making the
revolver feel more responsive. The high ergonomics reflect the Peacemaker’s
suitability for fast, precise shooting in skilled hands.
• RecoilForceUp: Reduced from 422 to 400.
• RecoilForceBack: Reduced from 240 to 230.
– Reasoning: The 7-inch barrel and the user’s proficiency reduce perceived recoil. These adjustments make the Peacemaker easier to control for rapid followup shots, as a skilled shooter like Billy the Kid would achieve.
• CenterOfImpact: Reduced from 0.045 to 0.04.
• DeviationCurve: Reduced from 3 to 2.8.
• DeviationMax: Reduced from 8 to 7.5.
– Reasoning: A skilled shooter with a 7-inch barrel achieves tighter shot groupings. These changes improve accuracy, reflecting the Peacemaker’s precision
in experienced hands.
• aimingSensitivity: Increased from 0.7 to 0.75.
• AimPlane: Reduced from 0.15 to 0.14.
– Reasoning: Enhanced aiming parameters reflect the user’s ability to quickly
and accurately align the sights, mimicking the fast-draw and precise shooting
of a legendary gunslinger.
• IronSightRange: Extended from 100 to 120 meters.
– Reasoning: The 7-inch barrel improves effective range, and a skilled shooter
can engage targets at longer distances with iron sights, justifying the increase.
• RecoilCamera: Reduced from 0.016 to 0.015.
• RecoilReturnPathDampingHandRotation: Increased from 0.68 to 0.70.
• RecoilReturnSpeedHandRotation: Increased from 3.26 to 3.30.
• RecoilDampingHandRotation: Increased from 0.74 to 0.76.
• CameraSnap: Reduced from 4 to 3.8.
– Reasoning: These tweaks improve visual feedback and handling, making the
recoil feel smoother and more controlled, as expected from a proficient user.
• mod_magazine Slot: Updated to include new cylinder IDs:
– .45 Colt: 665154c4019e9e7d5ad6d0cc
– .44-40: 666a1b2c4f5e7b8a9c1d2e3f

– .32-20: 666a1b2e4f5e7b8a9c1d2e41
– Reasoning: Allows the Peacemaker to use the new cylinders, enabling compatibility with all four calibers while maintaining the original .45 Colt as the
default.
Changes to .45 Colt Ammo
The .45 Colt +P ammunition was adjusted to reflect realistic ballistics for a 230-grain lead
bullet fired from a 7-inch barrel. Changes include:
• Weight: Reduced from 0.0165 kg to 0.015 kg (14.9 g bullet).
– Reasoning: Matches a typical 230-grain .45 Colt +P load, accounting for bullet
and casing weight.
• Damage: Reduced from 102 to 98.
– Reasoning: Aligns with real-world stopping power of a 230-grain bullet, balancing lethality with realism.
• PenetrationPower: Reduced from 67 to 64.
– Reasoning: Reflects moderate penetration against modern armor, as .45 Colt
is less effective than modern rounds.
• InitialSpeed: Increased from 343 m/s to 360 m/s.
– Reasoning: Matches a realistic +P load velocity from a 7-inch barrel, improving
ballistic performance.
• ArmorDamage: Reduced from 58 to 54.
– Reasoning: Balances effectiveness against armor, consistent with the reduced
penetration power.
• HeavyBleedingDelta: Reduced from 0.24 to 0.22.
• LightBleedingDelta: Reduced from 0.33 to 0.31.
– Reasoning: Slightly lowers wounding potential to align with the adjusted damage and real-world effects.
• StaminaBurnPerDamage: Reduced from 0.733 to 0.71.
– Reasoning: Adjusted for consistency with the reduced damage, reflecting less
stamina impact on the target.
• CasingMass: Reduced from 14 g to 13 g.
– Reasoning: Matches a realistic brass casing for .45 Colt.
• AmmoRec: Reduced from 47 to 45.
– Reasoning: Reflects slightly lower recoil impulse due to optimized load and user skill.
3 New Ammunitions: (I did not add new bundles, I let the new ammo/cylinders inherit the og assets. I IF Choccy adds new bundles for ammo types then the formatting is here to easily swap).44-40 Winchester
A new .44-40 Winchester (10.36x33mmR) caliber was added, based on a 200-grain lead
flat-nose bullet, historically used in the Colt SAA. Details:
