    Just FYI there were quite a few changes for 3.7.0, so please let me know if you encounter any issues.

    This release includes some changes to prevent issues people have been experiencing with disappearing corpses and hit detection breaking, which seem to be related to ragdolls.

    • As part of the work around, bot players will now be invisible while paused, but their guns will remain. This is intended for now.

    You probably don't need to worry about upgrading to this version, but it's here just in case.

    • Disabled pausing while in the hideout to prevent some errors and a bug where you could inadvertently pause while typing in the flea market after entering the hideout.

    • It works on 3.8, but the timer is 0:00:00 from the start, and dosnt show exits when i press the button.

  • Had an issue just now, paused for 20ish minutes, when unpaused i was immortal, couldn't pick up any items or search anything and enemies would become immortal too, as if bullets didn't even hit either of us.

  • I used the pause button for like 30minutes in interchange and I end-up losing as if the time run out with I unpaused. well, I don't know why

    • Hi, I downloaded and ran your version and it seems to work well! Only one odd thing to note, in one raid where I paused for several minutes, I found a PMC just crouched and seemingly unable to detect my presence. I could walk right up to his face and he just sat there, so I popped him in the face. But other AI bots were fine, so that might have been a bug from another mod.

      Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for picking up this mod where the others left off! Cheers!

    • hi.. i run on 3.7.6 but when i press (P) the game seems pause and the time seems paused but after 5 min when i come back the time is 5 min less...any solution?

      Plenty of times where I was in an intense firefight and suddenly having to answer my phone or take bio break and I was forced to let my PMC die so I could go (insert important thing here).

    • Gave it a try, the timer still doesn't pause atm

  • Installed the mod and on the main menu it said that a plugin failed to activate and to check the console. Nothing was wrong in console so i assumed i downloaded the wrong version. Downloaded the older version and now my game refuses to launch the server with or without the mod installed.

    • Even after grabbing a friends config folder and replacing mine has not fixed anything. Seems I'm just forced to do a full reinstall :/

  • Everything is stopped, but not the raid time. Aki 3.7.3

    • the same thing, I used to have a mod on long raids and I didn’t notice it, but I literally just had to give up and I calmly paused it, and when I saw that there were 20 seconds left in the raid I was a little shocked)) (aki 3.7.6)

  • Looks like pausing the game causes a memory leak, which leads to a game crash (the time before that happens depends on the amount of RAM installed).

    • Can confirm, very short pauses are manageable but RAM use baloons quickly.

      Ram gets freed after the game is closed.

  • A few times now after pausing it seems an awful lot like all bots i encounter either can't see me or are trying to shoot me through walls.

    • I can confirm this issue. Stepped away for an appointment and returned to 1 min left in raid.

    • I left to get pizza for dinner and my game immediately ended, ALT F4'd as an attempt not to lose my stuff and I went MIA

  • Ive been getting very bad performance after pausing for more than a minute or so. On Reserve Ive had multiple instances of 1 frame per 5+ seconds, and recently I paused on Interchange and after coming back after maybe 2 minutes my game crashed trying to unpause.


    It seems I can safely pause for very very short instances, like maybe 5-10 seconds. But every time its more than a quick pause my performance renders the game unplayable.

    • Not sure if relevant but this was in my server log after the interchange crash. Although I cant tell when it happened in relation to the crash

  • Raid timer does not pause, I tested it multiple times and time still passes while your mod "pauses"

    • Yeap can confirm, I paused and had to go somewhere for 15 mins, came back, unpaused and immediately got sent to the missing in action screen.

  • I paused the game on shoreline, but unfortunately when I unpaused the raid it had been over for 1 hour and it marked me as dead

  • Found out raising the time while using SVM will keep the time running while its paused. So just a heads up,

    • If you don't touch the raid timer in svm, will the pause mod pause the raid timer then?

    • No I had svm raise raid time first before I got the pause mod. After I moved the timer back to normal. The raid timer would pause with the game.

    • I don't have this issue, I had raised the raid time to 3H, and all works fine.

  • Looks like once paused, then unpaused, bots are unkillable/unlootable.

    Anyone else running into this issue? Could be clashing with SAIN/Swag+Donuts or something like that, not sure.

    • I have the same issue, though not all the time. I've also noticed that some things can't be interacted with after unpausing (I dropped my backpack before pausing, after pausing went back to pick it up and it acted like a static object, no way to take or search it).


      I'm aslo running SAIN/Swag+Donuts.

  • I am not a modder, so I do not know if this is asking too much, i noticed that you fixed the time not stopping while paused, is it possible to make a skyrim style wait system where you can wait X amount of time so you could change to night from day etc

  • Did the raid timer being unpaused get fixed? This has been an issue for a while now and going by some comments it's still going - I don't mean to say it's anybody's fault because I assume it's a tough problem to fix. I'm just curious if it really does work as intended now.

    • Yeah I'm still getting the raid timer issue. You can sort of bypass that bug with custom raid timer if you don't mind changing raid timers. I personally don't like changing this stuff so I'm only using the pause button as a emergency button for 1 minute afk and not long times

    • I understand what you mean Luigi. The last update was 8 hours ago and it's still for version 3.7.0 which doesn't make a lot of sense because a recent update should be for the latest version.

      Yes, it freezes the player motion but that's (unluckily) all in 3.7.1.

      PMC starts heavy breathing either immediately or after some seconds, raid timer continues while being on "pause".

  • Anyone know if there is a bug with this right now? I paused my game about 15 min into a Customs raid and was paused for quite a while (took a phone call to do some tech troubleshooting for my sister). Came back, unpaused, and raid immediately ended and I went MIA. I have not upgraded to 3.7.0 so it's not an out date mod. It says my raid time was 1:39:13. This is the first time this has happened since I've been using this but admittedly probably the longest time I've gone paused. Is this not actually pausing the raid timer?


    I've recently added Task List Fixes to my mods. Could that be causing a conflict? Task List Fixes

    • So I've actually confirmed this isn't actually pausing now for some reason. I hit pause and the game freezes, and the timers say PAUSED but if I let it run for 10 seconds and unpause the raid timer has advanced 10 seconds. I disabled the task list mod but it's still happening. Will try uninstalling and also try reinstalling PAUSE to see if that fixes it. I'm running SPT 3.6.1 and PAUSE version 1.0.3

    • The raid timer should be getting paused, so something is wrong if you pause and the raid timer keeps going.


      You may have tried these already, but here are a few things you could try:


      1. Make sure you don't inadvertently have other version of the Pause mod installed.

      2. If you are still having trouble, are you able to reproduce with ONLY the Pause mod? Pausing for a few seconds and making sure the timer resumes where you left off is a quick test you could try.


      I did just push a release for 3.7.0, so that's also a possible option. Also please feel free to PM me your BepInEx\LogOutput.log and I'll have a look to see if there's anything that jumps out.

    • So, I've been doing a bunch of testing for this. When I uninstalled Task List Fixes, the pause started working again. However, I am noticing again that it is doing what I originally mentioned -- Saying PAUSED but the timer is counting down in the background. HOWEVER, I have noticed this doesn't happen at first. I just did a raid where I had to step away so I tested it like you said. Hit O, checked current countdown, hit P to pause, waited 5 sec and unpaused and it didn't move at all. However, as the raid went on (with pausing for baby stuff) I noticed it again stopped actually pausing. So in a single raid, it worked, then stopped working. When I just extracted it said my Shoreline raid was 59 min long even though I still had about 20 min left in the raid and my raid times are live configured. No modifications to raid timers. So something is happening mid-raid that is stopping it from working. I will DM you my log output as requested. Thank you so much.

  • The times I used this previously it worked fine, but the key being P gave me the issue of double-key press because my fingers are fat. I have L set as a toggle for a mod, and I frequently managed to pause my game at the same time, effectively giving me a mild heart attack thinking the other mod broke.

  • I do not recomment to use any of pause mods, same issues everhywhere:
    1) raid timer is not stopped.
    2) after unpause you can shot 1 bullet and weapon becomes jammed and overheated
