Equal Loot 4 All 0.6.1

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

A mod that normalizes the probability of every item spawn.

Trouble finding LEDX's or GPU's? Those hard spawn quest keys not showing up? Wandering around Woods but finding nothing to loot? This mod is for you!

This multiplies the default SPT item spawns, showing you vastly more loot.

Additionally, it normalizes all items spawn points. Those rare spawn points will now show just as often as the ones you expect to see in every raid.

This also normalizes every item in those spawn points to have the same chance to spawn.

This should let you find those harder to find items more often, find more things to bolster your wallet, and let you build your hideout and complete handover quests much faster.

Instructions:

unzip to <spt>/user/mods/

Notes:

This will likely affect performance. More loose loot on the ground is more stuff for your PC to track. I can't guarantee that your 486 will be able to run SPT with this mod.

Interchange, Lighthouse, and Factory (day and night) refuse to load if every spawnpoint has it's probability set to 1. As a workaround, 9 out of 10 have the probability set to 1, the rest are 0.999999999. You probably won't notice a difference, but it still causes me anxiety.

  • Version 0.6.1

    Added support for Ground Zero and tested other maps for compatibility.

    Note that GZ has very little loose loot. I assure you it's working.

  • Version 0.6.0

    My PS5 controller ran low on battery, and this 9% beer ruined my ability to progress in Mario,

    Added a config file:

    static_loot_multiplier_enabled - Set to true by default. Enables multiplications of default static loot (containers).

    static_loot_multiplier - Set to 3 by default. Sets the multiplication value for static loot.

    loose_loot_multiplier_enabled - Set to true by default. Enables multiplications of default loose loot (stuff on the ground).

    loose_loot_multiplier - - Set to 3 by default. Sets the multiplication value for loose loot.

    spawnpoint_probability_enabled - Set to true by default, Enables the probability that all spawnpoints will have an equal chance to spawn with some item.

    item_distribution_enabled - Set to true by default. Sets all items in a spawnpoint to have an equal chance to spawn.

    Disabled some debugging.

    Cleaned up some code.

  • Version 0.5.0

  • Any idea how to get this working with the latest version? When I try to launch I get an error "missing spttarkove version" but I don't know where I would add that in order to even try to force it to load.

    • The syntax for version number in "package.json" is changed in 3.9.0 onward. It's now "sptVersion": "~3.x", - when it USED TO BE "akiVersion": "~3.x", - where x is the current version - ie. it'll be "~3.9" for 3.9.3 etc. That's how to get rid of the version missing error - but I don't know if the mod itself will still then work - probably not, because I think various objects have changed in 3.9.0 onward.

    • Yeah. I figured it out after a I posted. It sadly does not work any more though and I don't have the ability to fix it myself lol me am big dum for code

  • Is there a way to tune this? I'd like to boost loot quality not quantity but not too much maybe 20% better quality than base SPT.

  • Yeah, picking up 3 violets on Woods and 2 reds on Shoreline does seem a bit odd. I'd love an option to lower the spawn chances for high value items like keycards, keys, bitcoin, whatever else it boosts. I think about 9% seems reasonable for keycards, maybe even lower. Otherwise it's a nice mod for sure, but I can't see myself having it active now that I've managed to acquire 100+ million roubles.

  • I am seeking loot mod that would be able to tweak spawn chance for static loot in containers. For example I want the file cabinet to have reduced spawn chance of items. In other words tweak loot spawn individually for any specific container. Would be cool to hear from you about such mods.

  • I definitely would love for this mod to have some customizability when it comes to the configuration, such as keycards spawning, as having key cards spawn every time basically ruins the balance of the game, whereas everything else is within reason.

  • does this work with Pity Loot?

  • Great mod, makes going around and checking for loot worth it. Although, is there any way, to modify the config, so keycard spawns doesn't have 100% chance to spawn a keycard?

    • I'd have to write something to specifically exclude the keycards. Maybe in the future when I am less busy with real life stuff.

    • I second this request to the mod

  • i cant find a middle adjustment to the config i have the two set to 0.2

    Code
    "static_loot_multiplier_enabled": true,
    "static_loot_multiplier": 0.2,

    "loose_loot_multiplier_enabled": true,
    "loose_loot_multiplier": 0.2,

    and the 2 last codes set to true and false i cant seem to find a sweet spot either one of those when i put the spawnpont to trueand the item_distri to false i get the same thing when bot of those are enabled ehen i revert it i get almost no loot cant what is a good sweet spot in the config anny suggestion i dont want to find op loot right away just need a sweet spot

    Code
    "spawnpoint_probability_enabled": true,
    "item_distribution_enabled": false

  • support 3.7.X?

  • It seems like after installing this mod all weapon cabinets are empty, normaly there is 2 - 4 weapons in those cabinets and some ammo and magazines, now they are empty?

  • I'm gonna combine this mod with lElwoodBluesl's "AllTheLoot". I fear that it may suck us all into a black hole. I'll report back.

  • Great mod, makes the looting feel alot nicer, but, it shines a light on how many keys are in the game, would appreciate that config to adjust certain item types. (I found 4 Marked Keys in Factory worth 1.5m/ea, oh lord).

  • How can I modify it to change it from 3 to 6

    • Hello,

      open config.json in mod Folder with Editor and edit the Number after`static_loot_multiplier´

      bw

  • Please. Can someone help me with this mod. I cant understand how does it work? I put mod in necessary folder. But I still cant found Ledx. What need to set up in config file? Which value? Default there are 3. I tryed with 3 no ledx, for example on interchange. Tryed to change value on 10, 50, 70... No result. With value 100 game was stucked.

  • damn thats a good mod because now i see keys and more variety of items spawning but what i need to change in config so just less loot spawns, cuz thats really insane, kind of still like it

    Thumbs Up 2
  • Found LEDX in a container lol

    Best Mod

  • Great mod mate , just too much in my case 6 LEDX in a raid XD

    Just as a comment maybe an option just to increase the items need it for a give quest ? sparks , car batteries, etc?

    Thanks

  • Code
    I wish we could add to this mod the function of blocking the blacklist at the flea market. And everything is great. Thanks for your work
  • is there an option to reduce the percentage of spawn of rare items? otherwise, it is not interesting to find 10 bitcoins in each raid))

    great mod btw :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

  • Guys, does this work on version 3.7.0? Thank you in advance)

    • It should, yes. I developed it on 3.6.*, and tested it on 3.7.0 and 3.7.1.

  • great mod but i think i found an issue. it seems to override the loot multipliers of all maps and also overrides loot multipliers mods like lots of loot (also one of the mod's functions, looselootoverlay, becomes disabled when using this mod). would be great if it was made to be compatible with mods like lots of loot.

    • I looked at this, but I don't know if I can support both mods properly. Parts of this mod do the same thing as parts of Lots of Loot.

      Maybe try messing with load order? I also added a config file if you wanna try turning things on/off to get them to work together.

      I also didn't try too hard. I had a long week and ended up testing/writing the config while drinking beer that was way stronger than I initially thought it was. And I'm not even a programmer! :D

  • Thank you! I have been editing the loot files manually and just replacing all the probabilities so that they would be the same. This is a huge time saver.

  • The number of people complaining for what the mod says that actually does is too damn high. :P

  • Does this also increase the chances of finding keycards?

    • i hope so

      Happy 1
    • The colored keycards? Yes. Although right now there is a bug(?) causing them to spawn more often in vanilla SPT.

  • At customs, library. i find like 4-8 Intelligence folder's, thing is way broken else is fine i think.

    • Not necessrily broken, if you crank up loot chance modifier high enough you get the same result as there are that many spawn points with only few items (if not only intelligence folder) in the loot pool, it's just normal spawn chance is way too small. Since this mod makes sure that every spawn point spawn items, this is just the normal result.

      Thumbs Up 1
    • So now loot with this mod is constantly the same or not?

    • Usually yes i think, cuz always in Customs library there is 6-8 Intelligence folders

    • From my understanding, tarkov loose loot spawn is basically:

      Chance of anything spawn here: xx%

      Chance of 'anything' being xxx: xx%

      This mod sets the first chance to 100 while setting the second chance to equal for every item in the loot pool of this point.

      If a loot point only has intelligence folder and LEDX in its loots pool then the chance to get either is 50/50, but if the only thing in its loot pool is intelligence folder then yes you will get 'constantly the same' loot in this particular point.

      Thumbs Up 1
  • after downloading this mod i have found 15 mre, 360 warmage bullets and 3 mp5 in usec camp and 7 expensive things in cultist bunker(?) on mountain next to the sniper in the woods :thumbup:
