Paulovs Shared Stash Trader 1.1.0

Adds a Trader that allows players to store and share items between profiles more easily

Do you have multiple profiles and would like to share items between them?
Would you like some extra room to put random items?
Would you like to earn some easy money?

This is the mod for you! :saint:

This trader allows you to "sell" ANY item to it and it will store that item until you wish to buy it back. It will also allow you to easily store an item so that another profile can use it. This is great if you have several accounts and you'd like to provide a gigachad weapon to the level 1 account.

This mod was cut out of an external community mod that I made to be completely standalone. It does not require any other mods.

Much love to Chomp for his awesome work on SPT-Aki and his excellent Mod Examples.

  • Link seems to be broken. RIP, sad I didn't get to try it.

  • this is an extremely useful mod but how come items occasionally disappear when i buy something from the trader? sorta defeats the purpose and i've lost some pretty good stuff via that glitch :(

  • Is there any way to change buy/sell prices?

    • BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, MAKE A BACKUP OF AT LEAST THIS MOD AND YOUR PROFILE!

Yes, you need a basic text editor for it.

      • Go into ...\SPT\user\mods\PaulovsSharedStashTrader\src\Traders\db
      • Open the SharedStashTrader.json file
      • Search for "buy_price_coef" under "loyaltyLevels"
      • You will find mutliple "buy_price_coef", one per loyality level
      • Top most is level 1, 2nd level 2, etc.
      • Change "buy_price_coef" to your liking the value is a percentage
      • High value means you get less money for the stuff you sell, lower value mean you get more money.
      • There is maybe no cap, and yes the value can be negative, tested it with -10000
    • Do you know if there is any way to just sell and purchase all items for 0 or 1 roubles? The purpose is to share the items but not need to spend or gain much money.

I've tried to change the coef values and discounts but no luck so far, I cannot get it working that way and if I use high values, then I cannot sell because "I have low reputation"

    • That's what I want to figure out, how to make it happen for little to no profit or cost. Truly like storage and exchanging between profiles.

    • Taking a look at the source code, I was able to modify the mod to sell all items for 1 rouble and buy them back also for 1 rouble. Not very difficult to do... but i have a problem with this plugin, and I had this same problem even with the current release without modifying it.

For some reason, if I sell two or three items in a row, after the bot refresh the item list, if I purchase something, other items get deleted from the list... or items get overwritten and duplicated.

Idk where it could be the problem, so I assume this is just outdated and there may be a bug on the item handling.

Sadly I still don't know enough to fix it myself... I may need some time to figure it out.

      Thumbs Up 1
    • I also encountered a problem that when selling items multiple times, the merchant can remove several or all of the items. Also, if he has 3 items, and you buy one back, the other two disappear.

Sometimes the merchant hangs on the eternal loading and there are a large number of errors in the server logs. The mod is very good, but the existing bugs make it difficult to use.

And as far as I understand, the developer of the mod hid the issues button, so I would have attached a description there (how I get the error, server versions, logs, etc.), but the support thread does not work on this site, this button is redirected to a stub.

  • This is a cool mod. I'm glad that I found this.

But I have some questions about the mod.

    • When I want to "store" an item, I'm getting 49% of the value that it would cost to buy it back. Is this fee intended so that you don't store all the items inside the trader?
    • I guess money can't be stored, because logic, you can't give money for money. Except if you give some other currency as exchange. Would it be possible to add the ability to exchange/store currencies?
    • It can't be changed, that items lose their Found in Raid tag when bought back, right?
    • I looked inside the SharedStashTrader.json file to see how it was configured. Because some items can't be sold to the stash, like knives, packaged ammo or gear under 60% durability.
    • Some of the IDs are only in items_buy or sell_category. Also, there are some duplicate IDs in those two categories.
    • Is the repair cost intended to go up with increased loyalty levels?
  • Is it really you Paulov? Good to see you on here.

Hope to see more from you.

  • does this work between two different versions?

  • The trader has level progression to it. but no way of progressing. Also after buying one item, then ~5 disappears.

  • This is great! is it possible to make the trades for buying and selling as 1 or 0? thanks!

  • which folder do you unpack this into? :/

  • does not work on version 3.8

    • It's made for 3.8.0, and looking at the downloads to people having issues ratio, it's probably a user error. Just saying doesn't work, doesn't help diagnosing your problem.

    • the trader himself appeared, when selling there is nothing in it and does not appear. even when you log into another profile

  • Once every blue moon, Paulov comes around and shows the community how to really be unique.

man this is dope as heck

    Happy 2 Heart 1
  • Time to disable fence, thanks !
