A small client mod for conveniently skipping quests

Simply adds a "Skip" button next to quest conditions in the trader quest screens, letting you easily autocomplete any task.


The default hotkey to make the Skip buttons appear is Left Control!

The binding can be changed in the F12 menu.

Known issues:

  • Toggling the mod via configuration manager requires you to navigate away and back to the quest task screen for changes to apply
  • Quest condition completion status isn't saved to profile for now. Please only autocomplete conditions when you're ready to actually complete the quest, otherwise the skipped conditions will reset to previous values after a raid or game restart!

  • How to skip lightkeeper quests, since its not on traders menu?

    • You'll need to use external tools such as Profile Editor for the time being. The issue of Lightkeeper quests still hasn't been solved.

  • Mod is most excellent, but i might have 1 issue with it. I've skipped some quests that would unlock better ammo for crafting and the craft itself is still locked even though i fully recieved the rewards like vodka bottles etc. Could this be a problem with the mod. I have all hideout modules upgraded. Thank you

  • I'm not sure what wrong with the mod, in 3.8.3 everything was just fine, but now in 3.9.0 it's no longer working plus it does not show in spt server when I run it, I double checked if I placed it in a wrong folder and still no success, also there no error shown so I dont know what to do at this point.

    • It's a clientside mod, so it never should've appeared on the server. Are you sure you installed it correctly? Did you check the F12 menu to see if it appears in the configuration list?

    • Yes, I installed it correctly in the right folder.

      However since it does not appear on server ,that fine I guess but, there could be a hidden bug, because I have pressed the left ctrl button and the skip icon does not appear anymore.

      I have checked the F12 menu a few times now , plus I even searched it and it does not appear or listed.


      if u need the logOutput.log , I'm sorry the log was no created.

    • If you have no log file then it's indicative of a bigger issue on your end. I suggest you reinstall SPT 3.9.0 from scratch and try again.

    • I thought of the same thing yesterday, so I did reinstalled it and I got the same results.

    • The mod works for me and many other people. You're going to have to seek support on our Discord, since lack of BepInEx logs means you potentially have different issues with your SPT install.

  • Is it possible to skip Lightkeeper quests with this mod - or do I need to do them the long way?

    • You'll need to use Profile Editor for Lightkeeper quests, due to him not having the regular quest interface

    • The mod is not featured simply because I don't want to feature my own mod, especially considering how small it is code-wise.

      The individual task completion status not being sent to server isn't really a factor in this case.

      I would still "vote" for this mod to be featured. It´s a great mod, at least for me. I really hate those tasks on shoreline and always stop the server, SPT Profile Editor, start the server and complete the task and this is anoying as hell.


      Now it´s a simple click and those small line of codes can have a great impact :thumbup: :)

  • cool mod, but could you add a config that reduces rep for skipping a quest and a money penalty? just an idea for those who don't want to do a quest, but suffer a penalty for doing so.

  • Unfortunetely not working for me on 3.8.0. its in the plugins folder but holding left CTRL does nothing for me and the plug in doesnt even show up in my F12 menu. Unsure as to why

  • God damn if this isn't a massive QOL upgrade I didn't know I needed. Just CTRL+clicking instead of having to exit the game, edit the profile, and load the game back up is so nice.

  • I'm having troubles getting this to work, I have the mod in the plugins folder and I see it in the F12 menu but when I hold left ctrl nothing pops up anywhere. I've tried reinstalling it and changing the hotkey but it appears nothing is working for me. If anyone can help I would appreciate it a ton!!

    • Please post your BepInEx logs (BepInEx/LogOutput.log) in the Support Thread for this mod if you want any kind of support.


      Also, please make sure you're in the trader quest list and not the Task menu under your character.

  • I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice using 7.zip but I don't see the button. what should I do?

    • SORRY I'M DUMB I FOUND THE HOTKEY IT'S CTRL. Btw could you please you please add to the mod description that you have that as the default. Love the mod though!

    • Apologies, I forgot to update the mod description to indicate that now there is a hotkey you need to hold for the buttons to appear.
