Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to bans.
This mod was built to be extremely simple with as little impact as possible. It just sorts the weapFireType by key length, which makes for a much better sorting system for the fire types than default.
If you want this to impact non-vanilla weapons, you will need to adjust your load order to put this mod below the custom weapon mods.
This only impacts weapons that you buy from traders and find in raid.
SPT will still remember your previous FireMode selection on raid exit and set it accordingly on the weapon.
Same with AI in raid, if they switch to Single Fire, it will be Single Fire until it's changed in raid.

Hi, I'm new to SPT but this mod doesn't seem to be working for me. I saw the comment below that it "This only impacts weapons that you buy from vanilla traders and find in raid." but I purchased an AKS-74U and it was on single fire at the beginning of the raid when I loaded in.

If the weapon was sold by being configured single fire, it'll still be that way by default.
All this mod does is reorganize the defaults, so any weapon that doesn't have it defined will be automatic.
Most trader listers don't define the fire rate, most mod traders on the other hand do.

Sorry, I'm still a bit confused. So this only works for weapons bought from traders added from mods? What's the point if it only makes the weapons automatic from those traders instead of vanilla ones if that's the case?
acidphantasm Author
It depends on how the trader is coded for the assort. I haven't reviewed the assort for vanilla since 3.9 as it's a ton of data.
You don't need to use the mod if you don't think it has a point though. It does do what it's intended to do, but you may not notice it until you go to loot a fresh weapon from a weapon box and go to use it.

Ok gotcha, thank you for explaining it!

Great mod, and a huge QoL improvement. The only issue I've noticed is that the SR-2M still defaults to single fire.

its not working for me im not sure whats going on but none of the weapons are full auto or burst mode at all

If your weapons have lost the ability to full auto or burst fire, that isn't being caused by this mod.

ahhh i see i understand

Will this be expanded to work with custom traders/weapons? Just curious
