Make Shotguns Great Again! 1.2.0

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to v3.8.3. Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

New attachments to shotguns and some rebalances for them

I'm working a lot, so it will take me a while to update/fix my mods


Some shotguns deserve special treatment like the Saiga-12K, Benelli M3, MP-153 and the KS-23M.


Rebalances:

The saiga-12K now have full-auto :evil:  (Use with caution!)


Improved the fire rate of the Benelli M3 semi-automatic mode.


Now you can put the Kiba Arms SPRM rail mount and the AK GP-25 accessory kit recoil pad

in the KS-23M.

Just place the userfolder in your game's SPT installation directory.

  • By editing item templates and cludging a PU 3.5 scope onto the Armasight Zeus mount, I was able to get a vague approximation of the "scoped carbine" version of the KS-23, all thanks to your mod! animeokay

  • You claim to "make shotguns great again", but i don't see a 50rd TOZ drum. That's crazy! ;)

  • I patched my installer to use the mod and all works well and good. Are AR buffer tubes on the MP-153 doable? The red ARE buffer tube would look cool with the red 13 round comp shell tube.

  • Chokes and muzzlebrakes would be VERY cool too .. there are so few in Regular tarkov

    • The silencer cannot be added to the muzzle slot because the TOZ is a weapon container, and I do not have the knowledge to modify it. (Maybe someone knows)

      Double barrel ULTRA short Barrel would be funny as well .. so short that a tiny bit of the shell sticks out the front like in H3VR

    Just fyi, the handguard you added for the M3 is referred to as Mlok but is actually Keymod. But that's just a nitpick, much appreciated nonetheless! ^^ :thumbup:

  • Hey brother, really love the mod! Would be awesome to see some more cool attachments. I think this is the mod that I am the most excited for to see in the future!

    Like another user said below, a custom handguard for the M3 would be insanely incredible.

  • Can you buff the Benelli firerate further please, it's still quite slow compared to the MP-153.

    • The semi-auto mode its a little bugged.

      You have to click with a certain timing

  • Always appreciate when folks expand on some of the more neglected guns. Two more things I'd love to see are the scope mount for the KS-23 to mount a PU scope, and a tactical handguard for the M3 shotgun. It's a real shame there's no way to mount a light on that gun.

  • Is it possible to add the gp-25 ak buttpad to the ks23 wire stock? I've seen a few real like examples of this and i'm confused why bsg haven't added it as well.

      It's people like you who want to make the game just that little bit better with new and fresh ideas, but the only people who can make that idea a reality is the modding community, who I love (no homo) and respect hugely.
