Use this mod High Tier Ammo (HTA)

This mod reintroduces M855A1 ammo to the Peacekeeper trader. To keep the balance, I limited the ammo purchase to 120 rounds per restock and set the price at 8 dollars per ammo (1168 rubles), which corresponds to the price of high-tier ammo. Ammo available at LL4 trader


In the config.conf file you can set the price for ammo, the amount of ammo per restock and the trader’s loyalty level


Installation:

Move the user folder to SPT_folder

  • To piggy-back off Foxxee's comment... Rounds like .338 Lapua, SSAP, M995, etc. It'd be awesome to have every bullet type unavailable for purchase or crafting fit into 1 mod and you can toggle whether they're on or off for yourself. I know modding is grueling work though so, no worries if not.

    • Okay, I'll try to make such a mod.

    • It turned out to be easier than I thought it would be. The mod works, but I'm still thinking about the usability of editing the config.json file. If you would like to help with testing and thus speed up development, please let me know.

      I try to maintain some kind of game balance and not unlock the highest tier ammo from traders, such as M955, SSA AP, MAI AP, so that players get a gaming experience close to the living Tarkov.

    • Hi, I'll be releasing an update within a few days. For now, you can find the package.json file in the mod directory and replace the line "akiVersion": "~3.8" to "sptVersion": "~3.9", this should solve the problem.

  • Nice mod. Otherwise the M855A1 ammo can only be obtained FIR from bosses, rogues, and raiders, or after obtaining Level 35 and completing the "Your Car Needs a Service" quest and then crafted from a level 3 workbench
