Geeker the trader 1.2.0

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.9.X
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Basically a trader helping you early game with mid gear, or whatever.

Geeker is meant to be a trader selling you decent tier gear at decent prices (at least what i can see is fair) and might actually be useful early game before unlocking the flea. Most items are just slightly cheaper than the other prices of other traders like the medkits or something


Loyalty Levels:

LL1:

  • Level 1
  • 0 Spending
  • 0 Standing

LL2:


  • Level 24
  • 1.5 Mil Spending
  • 0 Standing


LL3:


  • Level 31
  • 2.1 Mil Spending
  • 0 Standing

HOW TO INSTALL:

Unzip the folder with 7zip or something

THEN

Drag and drop the user folder on your spt directory

    Whats new in LL3:
    Added the PKTM and the PKTM 250 round mag [Unobtainable modernized PKM variant used by the BTR gunner scav]

  • I was informed that the Assort Ids will brick profiles that are migrated to 3.10 Please do not migrate your profiles to 3.10. When the time comes the port 3.10 will have all ids replaced to mongo Id's

  • Plans for Geeker when 3.10 Releases

    2. Add a questline in order to make getting a better Loyalty Level harder
    3. Revamping the M700 Currently in LL2 so its better weight and ergo wise
    4. Adding Helmets to LL2
    5. Making LL3 a bit more useful
    6. QoL changes and changing prices accordingly to the 3.10 flea
    7. Adding overall more content and finishing the mod as intended.

  • Figured out I done did mess up the code before initial release thinking I couldnt add more guns so yeah LL3 and LL4 are going to be added soon lmao

  • Love this mod, very helpful for when I don't want to run my starting gear, however I think the prices and/or builds on certain guns need to be adjusted. You can buy the PP-19 and sell it right back to the trader for a profit, and MP9 is profit if you sell it to Mechanic, and there are probably other things that you can that I just haven't tested. You can even take off the SE-5 grip from the Vityaz and still sell it to a trader back for profit.

  • Well the uh, pktm is uh, truly a gun of all time huh

    Would it be possible for you to adjust the recoil on it, or is that too out of scope of the mod, cause god damn is it literally useless in raid.

    • Ik its a crazy thing and the answer is no i cannot unfortunately its the gun idk how i can make it useful ngl

    • All good, I figured that'd be the answer so I did some digging myself last night.

      Turns out you can just use the individual item changer on SVM to adjust the recoil values so I did that and now its on par with a PKP basically so all good.

  • I dont know if this is a bug or just not added yet, but i reached LL2 for geeker and no items are showing up in his shop only the LL1 items?

  • This might just be me but i feel like the pp-19 modded for 72k might be kinda busted, where you get a se-5 and bladrpro plus the UH-1 for so cheap, love the mod so far but feels a little bit too cheap, could just be me though.

    • I mean yeah to be fair this is the purest meta for the PP19 but then again when people start with 500k or 1mil it is expensive for them to upkeep but ill see maybe next update the prices will be changed

    • I personally haven't been using that specific trade for the se-5 because I have the WTT hk417 which adds a pretty good grip for only 5k, but with the ability to flip the parts of the gun now because FIR was sorta removed by BSG on the flea, I was able to get about 320k from flipping it. It's not really a large issue because anyone with some decency will just not do that and use the trader as intended but so far it's been pretty useful for getting stuff like m855 at the start.

    • Damn youre able to flip items for profit? Ok tell me if you find any of the items that seem to be flippable from both LLs and inform me so I can drop an update. Thank you for using the mod as intended.

    • Yeah, BSG removed FIR requirement to sell things on the flea, it's an issue with all traders whether regular ingame ones or modded ones, I personally don't do it unless I'm really tight on money but the only real way to fix it is either by making the preset kinda suck for flipping or just add back the FIR requirement, but I'll let you know what I can flip when I hit lvl 24, one that I found you can flip pretty easy is SOST from Geeker for 350 each, you buy 450 for 157k and flip them for ~1300 for around 585k.
