The VR mod from Cybensis is amazing,
but Tarkov's body is not adapted for VR.
VR Gloves adds a new fixed outfit for 0₽, BEAR and USEC at Ragman lvl 1:
-Wearing the top will turn invisible your arms in 1st person (reworked model).
I improved and optimized the base model while working on it, I also fixed the weight painting so that it doesn't bend weirdly in VR.
-Wearing the pants will turn invisible your legs both in 1st person and 3rd.
Tarkov displays the same model in 1st and 3rd person, so without modifying how the game works, having no legs means having no legs.
It helps differentiate you from non VR users, lower the chances of teamkills and don't worry, the bots won't equip it by default.
The mods works without VR too, is compatible coop (Fika), even between VR and non VR players (if you don't want it to impact your character simply equip a different uniform).

Any advice for changing gloves texture? Been trying to put a leopard print on gloves but the .bundle files are giving me huge pains.

When playing the game in VR, I have a lot of difficulty aiming properly, perhaps because of the collision between the character's body and the Buttstock of the gun. Will installing this mod solve this?
YukoVR Author
SPT-VR 1.0 do have many aiming problems that stems from:
-2 options for aim smoothing on by default (VR tab of ingame settings) that seems to stuck my gun more than anything when on (I would recommend trying those off).
-character's animations still impacting your gun (ex: goes up and down when you walk...)
-character's animations still impacting the camera (ex: when you turn in place...)
-The aiming angle setting changes not applied when two handing weapons, some controllers result in odd aiming angles ingame which could lead into positions where they are more ocluded
Maybe on top of all that there is a collision problem (gotta try again to make sure).
and Nope, this mod turn invisible the body (via remodel, materials) and adapt the weight painting but doesn't modify anything related to collision (which could create issues like for hit registrations).
Also, If your headset uses cameras for tracking, I would recommend not getting your controllers to close to the headset/behind so they stay in view, hiding mirror's and windows and getting the lighting right or even investing in a more precise tracking solution (ex: quest pro controllers, valve base station system). I guess a gunstock could help too but I never tried those.

Really nice to see that other peoples are ready to work on improving VR, the more we are, the better the result will be.

There is something i want to ask, does this changes the VR mod about interactions with weapons for examples ? Cause when i look at the video all the VR UI is gone (when you look at the weapon for example)
YukoVR Author
The VR UI is still there and my mod doesn't touch that area, SPT-VR 1.0 has currently no manual reloads.

yes yes yes!

Many thanks for the mod! Hilariously enough, there is actually a reason to use this in flatscreen, as in the Boss mod I ported there are tops that also come with lowers attached, so having an invisible lower to pick from actually is really useful for preventing clipping.

My pleasure, happy to see it also serves out of its initial use
