Mod Description

  • I honestly care more about my first person view than third person character so, in light of that. Here are a bunch of hands that I ported.
  • Just so you know, the gif doesn't show all of the hands.
  • version 1: places the gloves in the ragman top menu with a placeholder top
  • version 2: removes them from the top menu but shoots a large white error as it still tries to place them in a trader, this is done to prevent confusion and force the use of SkinService Menu

Known Issues

  • I will say, I'm using a different material so I can get my emissive parts to work so you'll notice that in-shadow the character will seem quite dark.
  • I noticed one of them has a white watch but I already deleted the files and can't find the (im lazy anyways moving on)
  • Minor clipping here and there, the first 34 hands are the best imo.
  • LOG alex_woodland hands no watch textures

Dependencies

  • Skin Service - You can go through Ragman and select the top but it's better to just go in-game and use this menu you select the hand you like

Usage

  • Open the Skin Service Menu (might have to rebind) then select hands and scroll until you see the suffix "LOG", select, hit apply.

    WARNING

    if you bought and equipped the tops, keep in mind that this update REMOVES them from Ragman and that could "corrupt" your profile.


    I removed them from Ragman to prevent confusion and from flood ragman with almost 67 broken tops lol. Technically you can just buy the top and equip the glove you want like that instead of using Skin Service Menu but I think it's less confusing to just use the menu. if you prefer using the top to pick the glove you want, use the previous version. Not this one.

    I do want to acknowledge something, I understand how unbelievably annoying it probably is trying to scroll through the menu and pick your favorite gloves over and over especially when it doesn't remember the last selected position. I also wanna apologize for not giving a "catalogue" of sorts, as that would be super fucking useful. I wouldn't provided if I didn't have so fucking many and deleted most of the files when I was done. maybe I'll just go in-game and take a screen shot of each one for you guys! This was more just a mod for me then I thought i might as-well release it but after seeing the amount of downloads. Maybe I do.

    • no no it's just a placeholder, that's why you're supposed to use the skin service menu! I actually removed them from being able to be bought at RAGMAN at all in the latest version.

      make sure you're using SkinService Menu as version 2 is dependent on that

    I wanna add lots more gloves but Skin Service Menu is already so difficult to navigate, I'm working on making my mods look more professional and pristine. Also don't worry if you see a giant error log in white it should be fine!

  • fika causes issues with this mod. the gloves will not appear in trader services or in the skin selector mod. upon testing without fika all appears to work. not sure what causes this.

    • Weird, I've never played without Fika so the mod has been working fine with me :C sorry I wish I knew how to help

    • Lmfao I did Port Ada Wong a day or two ago but I've not been able to upload due to a weird issue with the face. I can probably splice the head with another model I can find.

  • downloaded mod. no errors but cant pick anything in the F12 skin service menu.

    • Maybe you installed it wrong, I just downloaded it and tried it just in-case.


      Make sure the mod is placed like SPT\user\mods\LOG - Lots of Gloves

  • When I installed this mod I got an error! Does this mod and the Skin mod need to be in a specific load order to run normally?

    I can start the game, and open the Skin editor, but can't change anything!

    • That's a giant error, yeah I've gotten the same error sometimes but it loads. I'm sorry I'm still new to modding Tarkov! I wish I could help, another person has been struggling to load the mod but I really have no idea what's causing it. I'll keep looking!

  • Hello! Just thought I'd say that this is a really cool mod, adds a lot more variety/options when it comes to customizing our PMC. However I have noticed that the LOG alex_woodland hands seem to be missing textures on the watch. Cause for me it's just grey.

    • Yeah that's the one I mentioned in the descrip as brokey, Sucks I thought I fixed it. There's another one that's like way off and doesn't fit right lmao. Thank you for giving me the exact name tho!
