Featured Old Tarkov Movement (No Inertia) 1.0.3

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Completely removes any inertia and slowed down movement, and replaces it with the official much faster movement from Tarkov 12.10

  • so i got a trojan alert when installing this, saying "Trojan:script/Wacatac.B!ml" im sure this is a false positive but just wanna be sure. should i allow it so i can install the mod?

  • Having an issue with walking when installing the mod. (doesnt matte rwhat version , both , old or new) When pressing W my character starts walking (the animation plays) but the model stays in one place until i release W , then the character moves an inch forward. Might be because i use some mod that conflicts with this one or I'm just dumb and didn't update my spt properly

  • This mod is amazing, been looking for something like this since I've started using SPT. Small bug I've found is when jumping while sprinting you stop sprinting when you land.

  • When walking (pressing W) trying to check the magazine (Alt+T) the character does the blind shooting. You probably already know about it but just in case.

  • If there were somehow a way to bring back the old recoil from 12.10 and pair it with this I would never play new tarkov ever again

    • Technically I think its possible, but it'd require messing with a multi-thousand line file, and I honestly aged so much just making this mod :(

  • This mod is insane, but there are still 2 things that need to be added for it to really feel more like old tarkov:
    -fast nades
    -bunny hops
    Could it be possible?

  • For some reason, when installing the mod, I'm unable to ADS and pressing escape does nothing, not too sure what's going on.

    I'm not sure if I'm installing the mod wrong or not. I've tried installing the contents of the ModernAnimations folder over to my SPT folder; the issue persists, tried doing the same but adding the user folder from the OldAnimations folder thinking it needed it; issue persists.

    Again, I'm not all to sure if it's my incompetence or if there's something wrong with the mod

    • I'd say re-download the latest update and then attempt to reinstall it.

    • Ok, so I've got the issue again, but what I've found out is that it only happens when I've got bots enabled, when I'm alone, everything works as intended.

      I've deleted the early test version of SAIN and its accompanying mods and this works fine now, idk how it's confilicting though

  • Love this mod. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it as although the new version fixed the vaulting issue with modern animations I was not able to complete any quests that required me to plant something (was trying to complete delivery from the past and farming part 1 both in factory). Keeps saying cannot plant whilst moving even when stood completely still. Any one else have this? I was able to complete the quests once I had deleted the mod

    • same thing happened to me, could only plant items or pay for car extract by going prone.

  • I found an issue where i cant plant beacons or place quest items with this mod active. Great mod other than that!

  • I second the 3.9 idea. I really Don't see upgrading for a while it didn't seem like there was much besides zombies and factory re work.

  • Do notice some issues, As a example when your sprint jumping, it forces you to stop sprinting, making you have to press the shift key to sprint again.

    adadad spam feels like it speeds your walking compared to walking in a straight line.

    other than the vaulting having issues which is noted.

  • Any chance you can make a version of this for 3.9?? I know that version will be fully outdated very soon but I think there are still a few people that haven't updated yet that would love to have this Mod!! Im waiting on my key Mods to update before I jump into 3.10. If you cant I completely understand! Thank you for the Mod either way!!

  • Found 2 problems. You can't give money to the car. When you hold down the spacebar, the character doesn't climb. I'm using the new version of the mod.

    • Thanks for the report, I'll investigate it and see what I can do about it. Are you using the old animations or modern?

    • Hi, just wanted to say that I am also experiencing this. I used the modern animations version. I only could give money to the car by proning and vaulting didn't work at all.

    • I use ModernAnimations. Now I can climb over, thank you. But I can only pawn things and give money lying down.

    feels as good as it did when this game was fun


    though, any possibility of getting the old jumping mechanics to work? rightfoot / bhopping would be awesome to have back as well!

    • It is fairly tricky to get it 1:1, but I'll see what I can do.

    • I figured if nobody had done inertia correctly until now, the jumping would be equally difficult.

      Looking forward to it though, great job again!
