Skeleton Key 1.0.3

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Adds two new items, "Skeleton Key" and "Priority Keycard." Unlock any door in the Tarkov region.

Tired of bringing your Shoreline keys when you went to Customs? If so, this mod is for you.

Adds two new keys which will open any door in the Tarkov region.


Adds two new items:

  • Skeleton Key
  • TerraGroup Labs priority access keycard

Currently the only way to obtain them is to buy them from the flea market.

As of version 1.0.1, they now spawn in jackets & bots (pockets & bags), they are very rare.


The mod has a config file for adjusting the prices & use count, but by default are very expensive. From a balancing POV, this mod is probably gonna break the game a bit.

    • Changed the model of the key to a random unused key I found in the files
    • Changed the model of the keycard to a random unused keycard and renamed it to "Terragroups Priority keycard"
    • The IDs had to be changed to be MongoIds for 3.10, so they are now: 673e1f10aaf0fe810c488218 & 673e213fc6be39d06423d6b7

    Balancing Adjustments

    • Added a max usage count to the Skeleton Key (40) and lowered the price to 30M
    • Added a max usage count to the Skeleton Keycard (20) and lowered the price to 50M
    • Banned the keys from spawning on Scavs and PMCs, this can be adjusted in the config as well.

    Of course, my balancing changes are optional, and you can just set them back in the config.

    Set the uses to 0 for unlimited.

    Please let me know if you are finding them too commonly, and if so which map / bot. They should be very rare though.

  • ive messed with the config and even took away all banned bots and still cannot get this key to drop. am i doing something wrong?

    • Where are you looking? I believe it spawns in jackets & drawers and on bot's pockets. Make sure you increase the drop values a LOT, probably like 20000 or so would make it spawn very frequently.

    • What version of SPT are you on? Did you drag both BepInEx & user into the SPT directory?

    • Do you have any other mods that might conflict with keys?

    • im having the same issue and the only ones that i have that might conflict with keys is lots of loot redux or pity loot but i dont think they would

    • None of those would cause any issues, it must be some other client mod overwriting the method I patched. Do you have any mods that do anything with doors? I'd recommend you double check you have everything installed correctly, and then afterwards if that doesn't work you take out potential mod culprits one by one.

      I am not sure what else could cause that, as the mod works fine for me on vanilla installs of 3.10.

  • I've changed mine but you should add a txt file that allows you to change the key/card visual to different ones, like I've changed my keycard to the marked card. Just a thought.

    • I'll get this added in the next update, I think I am gonna wait for 3.10 before releasing another update tho.

  • is there any way to config the drop chance? ive gotten 3 in 3 raids from bears. and they sell for 64mil xD


    might have another mods like questiong bots that makes them spawn with loot, idk if thats interfering


    Edit: tried to use the skele keys on factory, werent able to open any of the doors.

    • I just released an update for the mod that adds more configuration options for that.


      As for not being able to use the key on Factory, you can't open doors that are normally inaccessible. So realistically you'll only be able to open the Factory Emergency areas plus the quest room in the office.


      If no locked doors are working, make sure you correctly installed the mod including the client side too.

      Master key, or skeleton key is sorta the same thing. I just thought this one sounded cooler. I was thinking about changing the keycard to like "Terragroup CEO key" or something like that tho.

    • Wow that was fast, thank you dude! Another question is that I use mods such as KeysinLoot (basically adjusts the key spawn chance in loot), I guess that mod's effect will also apply and be used to adjust the chance of skeleton key, correct?

    • I'm assuming so, I'd just make sure your mod load order is setup correctly.
