What is Verbose Transits precisely?
Verbose Transits is a very small mod that adjusts RU and EN locales for map transits based on BSG's approach to all the usual EXFIL's. Basically...
- It changes EXFIL base text to destination location.
- The description is more in line with usual descriptions.
Example of new transit descriptions for Streets of Tarkov below:
I did not do extensive testing of the mod. Presumably, I didn't miss anything, and every transit should be covered by it. Lab's transit description above must be the longest out of all. The exfil list wraps around text, so no clunky stuff here.
Make sure to let me know if you are facing any issues. Cheers.

VirusTotal + Kaspersky checks are clear, MS Defender gives false positive on my mod. Check comments for related discussion.

hi bro, this is a great mod, I want to translate it and post it on oddba forum, of course I will put the link of spt in the first line, do you mind if I do that?

Hi. Sure, go ahead.
Actually, if you'd like, I can implement your translation to the mod in its new version. HMU if u want that.

not a helpful comment at all!!
It is concerning that there has been in increasing number of malware and virus reports. this one specifically pointing to wacatac.ml
I would steer clear until this can be clarified as either a false-positive or a clean file is uploaded.

Which A/V says virus is detected? Is it Microsoft Defender or smth else?
That's why I attached a virustotal report. I got a trojan claim for another file, too. From Windows Defender. Which is confusing at best for me. I guess I will need to run a check on my system with all these claims.
UPD: ran an antivirus check with Kaspersky on my PC. It did not find anything but an old version of a Chrome extension that is *still* up in Chrome Extension Store. I removed that file from the system nonetheless. I do not believe it was a virus, feels like a false positive, more like.
Obviously enough, mod files were not detected as virus-infested.

If this is still not convincing, I can post the mod code to GitHub. But in my book this mod is not deserving of GitHub. It's a 15-minute CTRL+C - CTRL+V speedrun.

The virus detection is a false positive, server mods (Which this is) are plain-text TypeScript files, you can open the source yourself and see that all it's doing is updating some string values.
Every time a new SPT update comes out, a slew of mods update, and a good chunk of them get flagged by some random no-name third party antivirus. At the end of the day it's up to each user to verify the validity of both an antivirus flag, as well as an authors claims
