BIG BOOM GRENADE 1.0.3

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

BigBoomGrenade (BBG) has a short fuse, just like my mate Dazza. A big explosion radius with LOTS of shrapnel.



This mod adds an extra grenade called BigBoomGrenade (BBG)


It has a short fuse, just like my mate Dazza. A big explosion radius with LOTS of shrapnel.


It's perfect for shredding enemies before they have a chance to run away, just don't get too close!!


It is based from code by Echo55 and LumurkFox "PineappleBlitz", so big thanks to them. I wouldn't have known where

to start otherwise.


Just drop the file into the user/mods folder


Settings can be adjusted within the "mod.js" file "// Set grenade properties"

    I have tried to update the file so that it works with Prapors Grenadier Quest but I just can not get it to work.

    For this reason I would just use "Skipper" for now.

  • Hey mate, nice mod. Every now and again when i nade someone the animation and sound plays but the grenade does not spawn.. I am also using Solarint's Grenade Indicator mod. Any idea if these conflict?

    • Yeah not sure mate sorry. Just uninstall Solarint's Grenade Indicator mod just to test and see if it is that. If it is I'll try and come up with some kind of update. Cheers

    • Did some testing on this, uninstalling grenade indicator did not fix it. I noticed that when i place the nades in MonoPixel's TGC combat belt in the armband slot they do not spawn when thrown, however in normal pockets they do. I also have WTT's pack n strap mod and the same thing happens with that mod. Maybe there's some conflict with the nade and armband slots?

    • ohhh bugga .... Yeah I'm not sure then mate sorry.... Looks like there is a conflict with the WTTs. Not sure how to fix that sorry. I might do some testing myself with the WTTs and go from there. Sorry :(

    • See if you can load after those mods that you mention then I can go from there.

  • Is there any way for a grenade mod to cause it to expand when it explodes?

    Something similar to what was seen in the gameplay trailer when it was announced?

    • Yes, I downloaded it just this Sunday and I was dying to leave my feet exposed within the explosion radius XD
      The result of this grenade is quite impressive :D
      I'm just saying that it would need the visual and physical effect on the elements of the environment.
      For the rest, this one is impressive.

  • Hey! I have an idea for an update, copy the client code of the rpg projectile explosion from the rpg7 mod and paste it into your mod

  • Nice mod! Though I was wondering is there a chance you can be able to increase the explosion of the grenade launcher rounds like the 40mm rounds used in the launchers?!

  • with PineappleBlitz new grenades were also (unintentionally) seeded to bots - does same happen in this mod? not really keen on an idea of giving ai pocket nukes, would like it otherwise

    • The mod author of [Fox - PINEAPPLE BLITZ GRENADE (RE-UPLOAD)], stating with version 1.0.3 (Jan 22, 2024) for SPT 3.7.6, said they fixed this issue. There are some comments in that mod afterwards saying it worked, and some saying the bots still had them.

    • This mod is different from the PinappleBlitz mod. I had to start from scratch and just started learning how to code.


      Let me know if you come across bots using the nades and I'll see what I can do.
