One Euro For Skier 1.0.1

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Skier trades with Euros because he wants to travel to Europe. Help him.

Tired of rubles and dollars? Why does Peacekeeper trade in Dollars but we don't have anyone trading in Euros? Skier is the solution.

Features:

  • Skier now sells all its products using Euros.
  • Skier buys your products using Euros.
  • Mission rewards changed from Rubles to Euros (Dollar rewards are still in dollars)
  • For the inconvenience generated, Skier rewards you with 25% more Euros.
  • Now Skier levels up by trading with Euros.
  • Prices of items are balanced using current RUB=EUR ratio. (Exactly 168:1 at this point).
  • Easy installation, just Drag&Drop without configuration.
  • Fully compatible with my other mod, Ammo Pack Discount.
  • Euro item from Skier, is obviously blacklisted.

Euro blacklist demostration:

Please note:

  1. If you have already started a mission, it may not reward you with Euros.
  2. You may have to start spending Euros again to level up Skier, or you may have already exceeded the limit.
  3. If an item has a weird price, maybe another mod is editing the prices or multiplying them after my mod set it to euros. Check it out by putting this mod at the bottom of the loading list.

Known bugs:

  • Daily missions continue to provide the reward in rubles. (Thanks to Apyeks)
  • Weapon repair using Skier is still purchased using Rubles.

  • is it possible to blacklist a item? when im trying to buy euro its using euro instead rubles, making impossible to convert

    • You're sure? The euros are obviously ignored in the conversion, perhaps you should move the mod in the mod list... up or down. I still recommend as low as possible. It works correctly for me.

EDIT: Added a screenshot in main page.

    • had to put it in the bottom of my load order, it's working now. thanks!

    • Hi Zelchia. Glad it works again for you.

Anyways, I'm working on a new version that might fix the problem.

  • Love the idea, but there is definitely a balancing issue. 28k euro's for a M32 Headset is crazy.

    • I checked the price, maybe it's something wrong in your end.

It cost to me 168€. Its balanced.

Maybe another mod is restarting or editing the price?
Send to you a MP with the demostration.

    • Ok, I'll do some digging and see if there is a conflict somewhere.

      Thumbs Up 1
    • the default divisor in the code needs to be changed to 168. It's set to 1 rn so if it fails to fetch the conversion rate dynamically, the roubles get converted to euros 1:1 hence the absurd prices.

      Heart 1
    • It shouldn't fail to get the price dynamically, but maybe you're right, I'll make the change and upload a new version with the improvement. Thanks for the idea.

    • May also want to exempt skier's euro conversion barter.

Edit: looks like it's in the code but the Euro item ID was given instead of the euro barter ID
