Installation

You will need SPT version 3.11.x installed. Unzip and drag the mod into the root of your SPT install, where the EXE is located.

The mod should be under the path SPTLocation/BepInEx/plugins/In-RaidTraders.-Core, and SPTLocation/user/mods/InRaidTraders-Server/

Traders are by default ONLY in raid, the traders button is disabled and removed in the main menu unless you have modded traders not compatible with IRT. There is a configuration option to add them in the main menu and in raid, "Enable Traders out of raid?".

!!THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE!!

Traders are BY DESIGN only Interactable cubes at this point! I was working with WTT but due to conflicts with team members, that has been severed. I will eventually add my own trader models, but this is going to take very long.

Building with Rider

In-RaidTraders uses a typical C# project structure and can be built by simply running the default Debug or Release task.

After Rider finishes building the project, you can find the built mod in bin/Debug or bin/Release. Feel free to open a pull request!

  • The traders are just white cubes, I found therapist on streets and she was stuck half way in a door. What can i do?

    • Thats intended functionality right now, that interactable for Therapist is to click the intercom on the door. All traders are currently cubes right now because I dont have any models made for them

  • Does anyone know where to find fences? I can't find any I've looked everywhere on factory

    • Fences are on Streets, Factory, Interchange and Shoreline. I havent yet added them to the other maps, On interchange, they rotate between inside a corner in the parking garage, and underneath the split in the overpass by the railroad extract. On Factory, they are in the tunnels, pretty difficult to find. On Streets, they are under a arch by Chek 15, a archway next to Pinewood, and another which escapes me right now. On Shoreline, there is one spawn next to the movie theater in the center stairway in Admin, and one in east wing iirc.

    • I will be adding them to more zones soon, and ill better document it, sorry about the inconvenience!

  • It's a really cool idea but as far as i can tell idk if it's a bug or not there isn't a way to trade what you have in raid with a trader so if i pick up a gun or whatever i can't sell it because it's not in my stash. the only thing you can do is buy and sell through your stash while in raid, bit weird however i'm not sure if it's a bug or not.

    • Its beta functionality, all you can do right now is trade from the stash, the idea is to make it only with what is on your character in the future, working on that

    • Can you add a transit option on traders like BTR for this at the moment?

    • all good, and so far it's pretty epic. super excited to seem more in the future once it's a bit more complete, will be a default mod once it's finished, would be even more sick to pair with path to tarkov or something alike.

    • @Evilnibblets Not at the moment, this isnt a focus and i'm not interested in it for now.

      @yumiicx PTT will be a completely compatible module in the future yeah! I'm also planning on bringing the hideout in raid as well, slowly get rid of everything out of raid. This is very long term and im busy right now as well, without help this will take a long time since I already am having trouble implementing new functionality

  • Anyone knows how to do quests with this mod? I can accept the quest but i can't hand over items. Is there way to open quest menu?

    • This is a major bug I'm trying to ID, is it quest items you cant turn in? or is it just any item for a quest?

    • I just handed in a modified gun to Prapor without issues, and a task item as well, although you *need* to bring in the task item in raid right now

    • my untuition says that it's because the server doesnt know you have that item yet. your profile is not updated until the raid ends. So the server is probably just saying "yeah, but you don't have that tho." since it doesnt exist anywhere the server can see. Just my guess tho!

      Would this cause issues for quests that require Found in Raid items? I believe they'd be marked as non-FiR once you bring them into the raid

    • Currently you can leave items, i am talking about Quest Items specifically, secure folders and such that stay in the special "Quest Items" stash on your player.

    • Deal! Its a long term plan, this is a pre-release version currently, there is supposed to be fully modeled and voice acted traders in the future

  • Are the things that traders say in dialogs something you came up with??? Like when ask what do you know or something like that i forgot

    • Its localization yeah, I just researched based on the traders personalities and interpersonal relationships between them to come up with the localization. All of the lines are in InRaidTraders-Server/data/Locales/en/en.json if you are interested

    • nevermind, figured it out. quick bug though! you can still select traders on the flea market menu

    • Oh! Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
      As of now the traders that spawn in raid are disabled in the main menu, if there are no traders that would show up in the main menu then I just disable trading there at all. I can make it an option to trade in and out of raid yes.

  • What does it look like exactly? Are the traders bots? Is there a desk/shop they sit at or they just chilling somewhere. Or is it just like a door you open that brings up the trader menu.

    • Currently the traders are just interactable cubes at their location. I'm about to upload some photos of where they are, but thats the gist.

    • is there gonna be a way to add custom models, animations etc to the traders? or is that a long term idea?

    • Thats long term yes, the idea is to replace them with models in the future, possibly voice acted as well.
