Client side mod to adjust the global volume of the ambient wind and rain.

QuietWind

I quite enjoy playing without any headsets in-game. The guns sound so much beefier without them. But the damn wind noises are way too loud and annoying. Thus this plugin was born.

QuietWind lets you take control of the ambient wind and rain volume in-raid. Whether you're tired of getting blasted by howling gusts or drowned in white noise every time it rains, this mod gives you the freedom to adjust both to your taste.

Features

  • Adds two volume multiplier sliders (via F12 config menu):
    • Wind volume multiplier
    • Rain volume multiplier
  • Changes apply when the corresponding weather condition updates (not instant)
  • Range: 0.0 (muted) to 1.0 (normal), default 1.0

How to Install

  1. Download the mod
  2. Drop the BepInEx folder into your <SPT install directory>
  3. Launch the game
  4. Press F12 and adjust the sliders under Audio > Wind/Rain volume multiplier
  • Thank you so much for this! Can you please do the same slider for waves/water?

Every shoreline raid is a torture cause there's wind AND waves, sometimes blasting at the same time

  • Thanks!
