NOMAD - A new boss 1.1.1

Gamers, this is Nomad – a new boss wreaking havoc on Tarkov.

At his core, he's based on Partisan. But he's heavily configured.

His behavior is more aggressive, his gear is better, and his aiming is deadly.


Here are a few facts:

• This is an early, fully functional version.

Nomad currently only has one type of gear.

More will definitely follow (vanilla items only - no mod dependencies).


• Nomad, who is essentially Partisan, can generally be controlled by all common mods that control Partisan.

For example: "ABPS - Acid's Bot Placement System," which I highly recommend.

I also recommend "BigBrain" and "Waypoints - Expanded Navmesh" by DrakiaXYZ.


• Like Partisan, Nomad has two enemy factions: USEC and BEARS.


If you encounter any errors or bugs related to this mod, please let me know.


Q: How do I install the mod?

A: Unzip the files and place the folders in the main folder where your server.exe is located.

For example: C:\Games\SPT


Q: Does he replace Partizan?

A: Your original file under SPT\SPT_Data\Server\database\bots\types\bosspartizan.json is NOT getting touched or replaced.

But Partizan is getting replaced temporarily, for every raid.

So there is NO CHANCE Partizan and Nomad can be together in one raid.

You have to choose if you want Partizan or Nomad.

  • Link to picture gives me a "Secure Connection Failed" result and shows me a screen with an error code and technical jargon.

  • This would be better if it didn't just essentially delete another boss from the game

    • I know what you mean, but this is, as far as I know, not possible.
      My first attemps where a completely new boss without any replacement, but I always get the error that Bot-Cache couldnt find the new boss.


      If I figure it out one day, I would bring it. Until then, thats what we have to deal with. :(

    • It is possible, there was a mod that added the punisher as a boss in tarkov, it didnt replace anything.

  • I changed the boss file a little to use different a outfit and loadout, I might post some pics if it works out.

  • It might be worth noting somewhere in the description that this is a replacer for Partisan, rather than a unique standalone (Or at least, that's my understanding from reading the source js)

  • This is really exciting! My only recommendation would be to avoid the future dependencies you talked about. Those are some really large mod files and for FIKA players it's sometimes hard to get those downloaded for everyone.

    • I also like the mod's idea and want to use it, but am not looking forward to the future dependencies. Even just one of those required mods would mean a lot of unnecessary items and gear and bloat of questionable quality and compatibility for my game that I don't want to deal with.

    • Beyond that couturier has a lot of issues in its code that break every trader’s inventory assort.


      Very neat idea for a mod, would love to start using it if that specific mod wasn’t going to be a dependency in the future.

      I guess Im going to change my opinion about future mods from now on.

      No other mods - just vanilla items in the future - I promise. :)
