Hideout Architect 1.2.1

Marks items you need for hideout upgrades

As with every client mod, Hideout Architect is built for a specific client version. See version details for compatibility.

Similar to how "Quest" or "Found in raid" marks work, this mod marks what items you need for your hideout upgrades.

Features:

  • Marks items needed for hideout upgrades (duh)
  • When you hover over the icon, it tells you exactly which upgrades it's currently needed for
  • Should work with other mods without problems

  • Version 1.2.1

    Compatible version of EFT: v0.12.11.15426

    • Updated to AKI 2.1.1
  • Version 1.2.0

    Compatible version of EFT: v0.12.11.14290

    • Updated to AKI 2.0.0
  • Version 1.1.0

    • Split the "Needed for hideout" definition into two:
      • NextLevel: Generally marks items required for the facility's next upgrade
      • NextLevelReady: Marks items required for the facility's next upgrade only when its other facility pre-requisites are fulfilled. (e.g. Items for Lavatory 2 won't be marked until Water Collector 1 is finished.)
    • Added a configuration file
      • "Needed for hideout" definition
      • Tooltip header color (if users want to match it with a custom icon)
  • Version 1.0.2

    • Fix for item icons disappearing in flea market and weapon building - now the mod should try to add marks only where they realistically can be
  • Version 1.0.1

    • Update to file structure
    • Fixed some assembly infos
    • (Honestly just internal changes that shouldn't change functionality)
  • Version 1.0.0

  • For anyone who's looking for a new mod that does what this one did then I'd suggest More Checkmarks

  • is working in 3.5.5 ?

  • apparently someone did a fork and wrote the update. sadly there's no build to it.

would really love an update. although its not perfect, this mod has been crucial to my experience.

  • I probably missed a lot of items I need for upgrading the Hideout because this hasn't been updated yet xD

  • Any news on an update to this great mod?

  • olá, quaisquer previsões para atualizar para 2.2.xx

  • Favorite mod. Waiting update for 2.2.0

  • Does not seem to function with 2.2.0 :( Great mod, eagerly awaiting updates.

  • it seems to conflict with botmonitor for some reason, maybe the module dll file could be the culprit, not sure though

  • hey i have two suggestions or maybe requests

    1. make it exclude the upgrades that are already building in progress

    2. can you please add min/avg/max flea price to the tooltip as they are shown in flea menu when creating auction? this would be most helpful in raid to see prices

it would work that way with Lua-FleaMarketPriceUpdater

    thanks

  • Tested and worked with AKI v2.1.0 and EFT v.15261

    Thanks Faupi!

  • pls update

  • Hello! Did anyone test this with 2.1?

  • I would love to see an update version too :)

  • Great mod, Faupi! It's basically a must have for many players, would be very sweet if you could at least say whether you have the plans to update it, thanks!

  • Hi can you please update this for the new 2.1 aki version? Love the mod btw its pretty amazing :D

  • for whatever reason your ui mods don't work even if I have no other mods

  • can you maybe make one but for barter items?

  • I can only repeat myself, this is also amazing, seriously, this is super useful and BSG should implement it to.

Really great work! Maybe in the future you could do something like this also for questitems? But the difference would be it need to show for all "future" quests to that you dont have accepted yet, like for example items that are needed for "collector" quest. I am sure you know what i mean. Your Ammo and this Hideout Mods are simply awesome, replaces the whole need to have the wiki open...

  • Really great tool, technically ncie work too with what ytou did with the icons.

So i have 4 SSd for a quest but only need one. but the icon still shoes its needed so still hard to work out what else i need.

Is there a way to get a report on how many items you still need?

    thanks

    • actually - thought some more about it, an easy solution is to add the amount required to the tool tip.

That way when all items are in the SCAV Case and sorted,m you can easily tally them up.

I checekd the mod but didnt find any textualy way to add them.

    • This mod only checks for hideout requirements, not quest ones. Adding amount required would be possible, but needs a bit of rework which I might not have time for at the moment, but generally it'd be a little tricky to also implement a counter on how much you need and have, so it might take a while

    • i get you, i also meant for hideout - typo.

If you exposed the item quest requirements in a text file it could be manually edited instead of rebuilding the complete .dll.

Im happy to update something like that for use.

Also as the changes are made in live and ported to aki, it would be easier to change amounts in future.

Also, AKI Profile editor already has the code for reading the stash items. It may be simpler to borrow that coded and add on the counting code. :)

    • These could all be read right from the game's memory, so there would be no need for static values. Hideout Architect already does this with the hideout requirements, so they should always update to match whatever's actually needed

    • I have 6 SSD's in my inventory.

All are marked with the Needed for Hideout Icon, I only need one for the next Hideout requirement. So im keeping too many cause they all have the Icon.

See what i mean? If the Icon said I only need one, I will sell the other 5

  • so. When i host the server from a diffrent pc and have the mod both there and in the client folder the Mark's don't show up. Is the mod dependent on running the server from the same PC?

    • At the moment yes, it's due to a limitation in the info the client part can get, specifically where the mod is located, so it has to fetch that from the server. I was told this would be worked on soon(tm), so for now the only workaround would only be either having the mod on the same path in both server and client, or if you know how, make a symbolic link pointing to the mod folder, again, with the same path.

      Hopefully it works out. :)

  • amazing and useful mod, should be in the real game tbh

i wish there was a similar thing for barter trades though

    • Exactly - I would love something like this for barter trades.

  • Hi mate, its ok that config file have .jsonc? 1.0.4 ver)

    • Yes, that's intentional. It's JSON with comments.

  • Great mod you have right now, If my hideout wasn't already maxed out i would totally use it. I wonder if its possible to make a quest mod to let you know how many items needed for a quest and for mod quests as well.

    • Yeah, it'd be great if it popped up with a different color, and told you about stuff that you were getting close to needing for quests.

It'd be even better if it did it in a way that was "smart" with regard to what you already have in your stash.

    • Hello! That definitely sounds interesting, yet I don't know if I have a specific idea on how exactly that could be done. However it's most likely possible to be implemented, so feel free to DM me with your expectations and we could possibly figure something out! :)

  • My game gets stuck on the boot up screen when I have this mod installed. I'm using SPT 1.5.1, no bleeding edge installed.

  • where do i put it

    • user/mods folder.

  • Does this work for the current RC bleeding edge?

    • I tried it but i was stuck loading on EFT Booting up screen for a few minutes before i force closed the game and removed the mod again.

So from my experience, no, but try for yourself id say

    • 2.0 has a different framework so most if not all client mods from <2.0 won't work unless they get updated. I'm just waiting for a stable version and will update when it's out :)
