Bigger Backpacks 1.0.9

Allows changing the size of backpacks and removing restrictions to what they can hold.

This mod allows you to choose the sizes you want your backpacks to be. Want a Transformerbag that can hold half of Tarkov? No problem! Want a trizip that can hold as much as a 6SH118? You can do that too! Just use the config file to choose your horizontal and vertical cell counts, easy! In the config file you'll also find an option to remove filters so you can put ANYTHING in a backpack, no questions asked. Just set it to true to remove restrictions or false to leave them in place.

    • Cheers. Also missing multi-cam backpacks and trooper. For multi-cam I think maybe just make main section adjustable? Or all sections, if possible.

    • Any that have multiple sections won't be added I'm afraid, they have a weird grid system that makes it near impossible to do.

    • No, sorry. You could try the 3.2.1 version, it should work but will throw an error in server window. That won't matter though.

    • Hi. I don't get on much at the moment due to work commitments. Will hopefully get round to it at some point though, although I need to learn the new modding method as it's all changed and up to now I have no clue how to make anything work. Lol.

    • You have to create a folder in the zip file called "Nootropix-BigBackpacks" then drag the other files into it, Make sure you delete all the files from the first directory after you dragged copies of them into the folder you just created then it should work, Thats how I got it to work :thumbup:

    • Brilliant! It got me confused because most mods would already have the files inside a folder then all you needed to do was copy and paste in your mods :) thanks for the help bud.

    • It should unzip into a correctly named folder which you can then just place in your mods folder. I did zip it slightly differently this time mind, as usually I get people having issues because it unzips to a folder within a folder, then they get an error cos they place the whole thing in their mods folder.

      If you right click on it then select extract all, it should work properly.

    • Right, I think I know what the problem is. I've added all the latest backpacks, I bet there's one in 12.12 that wasn't in the version for current AKI, I was testing it against dev branch which uses 12.12. Lol. I'll get it sorted and re-upload.

      Tested and works. The 3 backpacks are new in 12.12.

  • So it can actually go too far off of your inventory, I was wondering if there is a way to fix this like scrolling to the left or right because you might as well not use this mod.

    • Not as far as I know. It doesn't cause me any issues though, I just make the backpacks a reasonable size that is bigger than standard. If you need more space than that, I also have bigger cases and bigger secure cases mods you could try. Make a big SICC case or docs case and remove filters, then put it in your big backpack or big secure case and hey presto, almost unlimited storage.

    • Hi mate. Yes, all my mods will get an update, just waiting for the beta to finsh so not for B5 but soon!
