Copying the SPT-AKI Folder wont trigger a File Replacement

I tried to install SPT-AKI today, following the steps provided by the installation guide. When pasting the downloaded AKI folder into the copied game files there is no replacement confirmation, hence the whole mod is not working. I made sure the files are the same, also tried the downgrade tool with the hotfix today, still the same result.

I cant provide any logs since the whole mod wont start to begin with

I actually did not realize that the "Server" Application needs to be open for the Process to work - I just tried that and it seems to have no issues. Which opens a new question though, how can I link my actual account to the launcher? As I opened the AKI Tarkov I got to create a whole new character.
