Choice Bound

A mod that introduces new accounts / profiles with both positive and negative, short-term and long-term effects. Adding challenge and flavor. Heavy inspiration from Zero to Hero but with more depth.

This is my first time moding Tarkov, and the entire "balance" of this mod so far is pretty much my opinion. With some inputs from the SPT server and my friends. !Important PLEASE READ!
Starting with Trader rep less than 1.0 rep makes it so you cant access the traders inventory (besides fence) for buying. Until you reach 1.0 rep. Treat 1.0 rep as the new baseline from 0.0 this was done because a negative number caused issues with traders.


What are the effects?

Currently, its done by modifying the starting : trader rep, stash sizes, equipment and money. (more coming soon tm )

Who is this mod for?

This mod is perfect for players who love challenging starts, similar to the "zero to hero" concept, or just are bored with tarkovs accounts / profiles and crave for more variation and lasting impacts.

Move Choice Bound mod into the \mods folder in your SPT folder

Money = Power

3 million rubles

2x3 secure container

Level 2 stash

-0.12 trader rep with everyone besides fence (-1)

-1 fence rep

Allegiance = Power (Usec)

2x3 secure container

+ 0.2 Rep to Peacekeeper, Mechanic, Ragman, Skier

-What comes next?

Adding config to decide if trader inventory should be disabled if Trader rep is bellow 1

Adding more profiles and making each of them appealing for their own reasons. is priority number 1.

A config to disable profiles that is built in SPT

After that id like to add a custom quest for resolving debts / Unique quests for profiles (if thats even possible. meaning it may not happen)

-Does this work with MPT/Fika?

Yes, suffer with friends.

-Can I remove Defaults SPT profiles?

At the moment this mod has no official way to remove them, ill add a config once I figure it out how.

-Is this compatible with (X) mod?

It should not interfere with any mod.

Can you add support for (x) Trader?

If there's enough demand, ill do it.

completely redid profiles so the new baseline is (1.0) meaning having 0.8 rep at the start is equivalent to having -0.2 rep. This was done because adding any amount rep from a quest, to a negative rep number would result in the trader standing rep being set to 0.0.

completely defeating the purpose of having a rep penalty.

Reason?

Seamed like a pretty heavy rep hit early, without many good items and just made it unappealing to play. And because i was informed by @yurikus that the Adar is Russian

Made Usec have generally higher quality, While Bear generally have more to work with
