Failed quest "Bullshit" now Flash Drive wont spawn in trunk

Did the quest fine the first time and a scav scared me on the way out and I blasted him. When I extracted I restarted the quest but it already had credit for "Find the flash drive in the trunk of the car". Going to the car trunk its empty and there is no drive to pick up. The drive isnt in the quest inventory either. I dont know how to reset/restore the item =/
