    Have you read the FAQ?
    Yes
Where did you download your game from?
    Battlestate games Launcher
    List of used mods
    none

loads past the first load screen then hangs on a blank screen with the SPT-AKI 2.0.0 in the bottom left hand corner of the screen for quite a long time then the error message backend error text: Certificate validation error

  • Im no Expert but did you try reinstalling everything with a clean copy and did you clicked yes when a admin prompt came by the server maybe the server certs didnt go through and this could cause this maybe you have any anti virus programs that interrupt something

  • - Go to [Your AKI directory]/user/

    - Delete the folder named certs

    - Start Server.exe in admin mode

    - Close the server

    - Open Command Prompt (Windows key + R)

    - Type "cmd" then click OK

    - Inside of the CMD enter : certutil.exe -f -addstore Root <akiGamePath>\user\certs\cert.pem

Here's an example if you feel you need one: certutil.exe -f -addstore Root "C:\EFT\AKI\user\certs\cert.pem"

Make sure you wrap your AKI Game Path with " ".

Make sure that you CMD run in admin mode to do command.

If you still get errors try running the command in powershell as administrator.

    Catching bugs :notlikethis:

  • It is not a problem regarding certificates. Those are only symptoms.

In the server log you can see every endpoint that was requested.

modules.log also shows every url that is requested.

    Client's log show this error:

    Code
    |0.12.11.2.14290|Error|backend|<--- Error! URL: https://127.0.0.1/client/game/start, isNetworkError:True, isHttpError:False, responseCode:0, error text: Certificate validation error

But this URL is nowhere to be found in server.log or modules.log.
It looks like the "patch" did not apply (or was removed by the game). But my coding experience is too small to keep diging further. Can any one tell something more about this issue?

    EDIT:
I have Windows 10 original with latest patches. Maybe this is an issue?
