Yes, the bosses kill you as a scav if you get too near to them, but they stop when you hit scav karma 5 or 6 I think

Can you tell me which version of SPT-E SK your using? And did you change the configs? If so could you please send them to me? Without more information i can't really help you

I had the same problem. Just open the archive with 7zip or winrar and you should be able to copy without errors.
