the new update won't be available for SPT until the next major build of SPT is released, its all dependent on the devs updating it which can take several months to do and will more than likely require a clean installation

if you installed it correctly to begin with then you should just be able to open the BSG launcher and open the game from there, assuming you didnt install SPT into your main game directory
