I was able to solve it with deleting everything + downloading from scratch! Thanks a lot for you fast response and guiding me into the right direction.

Following Startup sequence from website
Start Aki.Server
Wait for it to say "Server is running Happy playing!!"
Launch Aki.Launcher
Create a profile "Standard"
Click "Start Game"
Game opens and stays in first screen with spinning loading wheel.
Any ideas on where the problem might be?
