NOW SUPPORTING CUSTOM SCAV NAMES AS WELL!


This is turned off by default since there are no pre-set custom names - if you're feeling like giving SCAVs any names you'd like, go to BotCallsigns/config/config.json and set useCustomScavNames to true. Now you can open scav.json at BotCallsings/names and add as much names as you please.


PLEASE NOTE that giving too little of first and last names to SCAVs may result in SCAV bots spawning with names "Savage (Number)" including you.

This update includes folder changes - It is not necessary to remove the mod completely in order to update, nothing will break.

Added ~1246 more names in total for both sides
Renamed 'cfg' folder to 'names' containing the.. names.
Cleaned up both files from duplicates containing ~160 names. This will make names less repeating i.e while looking at the flea offers.

This mod adds 5857 unique names into the game for BEAR and USEC individually which would show in your game, dogtags and flea. This mod also includes original names that come with SPT!

Adding names

You can add your own names you want by simply opening and editing bear.json or usec.json located at BotCallsings/names

For editing SCAV names, go to BotCallsigns/config/config.json and set useCustomScavNames to true. Now you can open scav.json at BotCallsings/names and add as much names as you please.

Configuration File

"validateNames" - Can be true (default) or false. Will prevent any bad names from getting in your game and ruining the fun. Will log in SPT console if there's any, and skip them on the go!
"useCustomScavNames" - Can be true or false (default). If set to true, will use scav.json file for SCAV names. validateNames also affects this.

"liveMode" - This function only works with Twitch Players mod installed. Otherwise you don't need to enable it. Can be true or false (default). When enabled, will make a temp file for Twitch Players mod containing all the names of BEAR and USEC. Use it if you added your own names into the mod and want them to appear on the other mod too.

PMCs usually spawn with some loot in their pockets/backpack. Therefore it's not found in raid but it should be once you extract with it. Pretty unrealistic as why would you want to carry a car battery with you in raid when you have Looting Bots mod but it is what it is.

Severe Muscle Pain lasts for 24 (or more) real life hours, not in game hours.

Update on pouches: Just tried loading all of my mods one-by-one and found the mod which (for some unknown to me reason) enabled insuring on some of the items called as NoDiscardLimit. Not sure from what mod it comes but I don't remember installing it. Well, yet another issue is sorted out now at least

Are you sure you've done the exact same steps? I just reproduced it again without any mods on fresh account and installation with the latest hotfixes. If you can test it again, I will give you a step-by-step guide, the video demonstration can be a little confusing:

1. Grab or have a random mod (scope) attachment in your stash which is bought or found in raid

2. Have a backpack on you so you can dump the mods you want in your backpack from the traders weapon

3. Pick your desired gun with mods

4. Click on edit preset

5. Here things get spicy. You HAVE to click on "Use only available parts" before doing anything else

6. Attach some random cheap scope/mod you bought earlier on the gun from your inventory

7. Take everything else off you want from the gun and click "Assemble"

8. The error is gonna show up that we cannot put our items in traders inventory. Too bad! Click "Ok" and head back to main menu while dismissing our weapon preset

9. Get to post raid menu where you insure your items

10. Click on "Character" and you should have everything in your sorting table!

Get in raid, extract and sell them off, repeat until you're tired

Later on SPT will give you an error again that you cannot put items in the traders inventory and gonna return everything that we haven't sold. But the money stay.

Discovered that you can also take all of the mods with you off the sorting table in raid and they will be with you as well so you can sell them

Update, junk boxes are back

I think SPT-AKI really doesn't like it when someone tries to edit presets from traders but hey! My money is still here from the stock I sold so I proved my point

I suggest watching it to see all of the steps (All of the mods that were not taken are disappearing)

Here's correction on insuring:

Online EFT pouch - You cannot insure anything like keys, keyholders, keycard holder, documents case and cards.

Offline EFT pouch - You can insure everything that isn't a medical item and everything that you can place it inside. Keys, cards, documents case, everything. It will be returned to you by the trader you insured with.

About editing the presets:

1) The price doesn't change whenever you edit the preset in traders shop. It quickly sends you a error and get you in main menu

2) After the error the edited preset stays and you get the original gun once you buy it

I guess this bug is somewhat fixed? But it still keeps showing the edited presets no matter how many errors you get.

Thanks for correcting on SNB ammo boxes. Yes, even after editing the preset you still get the fully modded weapon. About insuring - You cannot insure S I C C or your keyholders as you can simply dupe them by dying in raid and selling to traders even after. I will see what I can do more with presets and give updates

I'd suggest you to do your own research on this one. First of all, you have outdated mods which are telling you that no support will be provided. You either find and update them or you delete them and check again. Next thing I'd suggest is removing mods that DO change anything related to ammo/weapon modding, I suppose you have one of these or at the very end if nothing helps just try loading them one by one. Sounds awful with such amount of mods but it works.

I just wanted to pinpoint a couple game breaking bugs which if you are willing to abuse them, get really handy.

Nope. As mentioned earlier it is the cleanest live EFT installation AND SPT-AKI. No files were edited before and after, however, I can close the issue as I asked my friend his EFT installation with SPT-AKI, everything works fine
