Any way to tighten the beam? its a bit too wide for my taste

I was playing the Double Agent quest mod, and in a quest i have to hand in 5.45FMJ ammo.

I handed some rounds in, (as much as i could), and then when i looked again it said i could hand in more of those rounds, the same amount, like i did not hand them in yet. so i clicked that, after that i got this error and now whenever i launch the game i get that error. i assume its because it took the rounds out of the magazine, but now the game bugs out, and i dont know how to fix it.
