Update 0.2.3 includes updates to loadout generation, major balancing changes, a few new additions to the weapon mystery box, and more...
CHANGES:
Loadout Generation
- Added splints to generation pool
- Added grenades to generation pool
- Added face coverings to generation pool
- Each tier of loadout will have a slight chance of generating equipment and items of a higher or lower rarity
- This change is meant to add more variety as now generation of items isn't guaranteed to be of a certain rarity. For example scav tier loadouts can sometimes generate better armour or better backpack, etc...
- Removed chance to receive stock weapons
- Scav tier weapons have replaced the chance for the original chance of stock weapons, as the scav tier weapon pool has a lot more weapons to generate from in this update
Weapon Mystery Box
- Added 50 new scav tier weapons
- Added 12 new semi-modded weapons
- Added 11 new meme/cursed weapons
- Includes a new meme tier Golden foil wrapped AKM (My first attempt at learning the unity editor and learning how to create assets)
- Added 18 default weapons
- All default weapons available in Tarkov are now available to be unboxed
Mystery Keycard
- Slightly increased odds for rarer keycards
Automatic Mystery Container Price Balancer
- All mystery containers (excluding Mystery Loadout) are now officially price generated by the automatic price balancer.
- Weapon Mystery Box and Mystery Helmet will calculate the price of the base weapon/helmet and all the included attachments when determining the final container price.
- Rewrote how containers are price generated. Now all calculations are much more accurate than the previous implementation.
- Container price generation during server load is now much faster, pretty much instantaneous.
BALANCING:
- Most Mystery Containers now have infinite trader stock as I'm much more confident with the automatic price balancing as this change allows the player to gamble until they are broke.
- Re-calibrated overall chance to profit on all containers:
- With the change of allowing infinite container stock and better automatic price balancing, all containers are set at a fair price to allow the player to gamble to their hearts
content. Most containers will be a little more expensive than before, but keep in mind there is always a chance to strike it rich, as everything is a gamble.
- The only main issue I am having with balancing is the price of blacklisted items that don't have a finite price that everyone agrees on. This is something that will
continue to updated on. Blacklisted item prices like ammo and armour can always be changed in the config at "mystery_container_override_price" if you want to take a look at how
I've been pricing items that are injected into the automatic price balancer.
Fixes:
- Fixed mistakenly mixed up weapon mystery box tiers, which created weapons of different tiers than expected.
