First of all, you have to download and install the Server Value Modifier mod, otherwise, this page is totally useless.
This preset works only with SPT 3.9.8 and SVM 3.9.1. The reason for this is the 3.9 version is more stable, less buggy and has more compatible mods. Also, many modders abandoned their work, so many quality mods will be stuck on SPT 3.9 (until someone will rework them).
I'm working on a 3.10 version that will come out when most of the high-quality mods will be updated as well (as these SVM settings are intended to be compatible with them).
For who is intended this preset?
- For those who need a ready-to-play preset after a fresh install of SVM
- For those who don't want to (or can't) spend a lot of hours every day in the game to progress
- For those who want deeper gameplay and enjoy a slower/tactical style of play
- For those who use a lot of popular mods that overhaul the gameplay for a more realistic and more detailed experience
How to Install and Use the Preset
- Download this preset with the blue button on top of the page
- Drag and drop the “user” folder into your SPT main folder
- Open the SVM configuration tool (Greed.exe) inside the mod folder
- Select the preset from the drop-down list on the bottom right
- Click on “Load Preset” and then “Apply”.
Useful Information
This preset is made to work well with many popular mods (SPT Realism, SAIN, SWAG, Questing Bots, etc...), so if you them you will have the best experience.
Do not turn on the settings that are disabled in the preset as it can change too much game balance, especially if you use many popular mods
Inventory and Items
Removes "Can't be dropped in raid" tag
Multipliers
- Increased pick up and examine items EXP
- Slightly decreased weapon malfunction and misfire chance because with default values they happen too frequently
Hideout
Increased Stash Sizes to allow better item management for those who prefer to have a tidy stash than a full-to-the-brim one.
Loot
Decreased Airdrops chances because I find it an annoying mechanic and it can break balance with too much loot in a raid.
Player and Skills
Slightly increased skills progress and changed a bit the fatigue/efficiency values to allow a better progression without need to spend tons of hours every day.
Raid Settings
Turned Coop extracts into paid extracts to give them a reason to be and disabled Fence's gift to balance it.
Decreased car extraction times and increased prices for all maps (in the beginning it will be less affordable to use it every time).
Flea Market
Changed slightly reputation values to make it easier to "level up" in the Flea Market with the need to sell fewer items.
Repeatable Quest
Slightly changed the number of daily and weekly quests to give more choices.
Case Space Manager
Made Alpha, Beta and Gamma containers 3x3 to make them the same for every kind of account mode (useful especially for the "zero to hero" modes)
Player Scav
Increased car/coop standing and changed friendly and PMC kill values for better balance. (but it seems that SPT has still this bug where you don't get any rep for killing PMC as a scav)
SCAV and Bosses
Reduced Bosses spawn chances to make them less frequent in maps, as they spawn too often for my tastes and they ruin the enjoyment of searching and finding good loot around the maps.
Decreased minimum weapons and armour durability to have more variety.
AI PMC
Reduced level margin for both above and below values to avoid finding people with too low or too high levels (and consequentially with unbalanced loadout)
Great mod, we really needed something cool about the weather!
I have two questions:
1) Could be possible to have an in-game menu (like F12) to customize settings for weather and seasons?
2) Is there a kind of guide to understand how the parameters in ".json" files work and how to edit them if we want to change some settings (like rain frequency or clouds)?
