Maybe one day the 12.7mm AK will refer to more than just this behemoth, but for now, we must bide our time.QuoteNow with the biggest AK variant yet, the ShAK-12.7 (or as it's called in Tarkov, the ASh-12), as well as all the parts needed to make one! QuoteA comprehensive update to DonutLord's old mod that added a quick and easy AK shop.
This one is a whole lot more in depth, has a shitload more parts, some great presets (and some memes) and is generally awesome. This shop isn't balanced, and does have many infinite money presets - if you feel guilty for that, just buy some items and scrap it until you feel like you've paid your due! XD

QuoteYou want it, we've got it. Every single AR derived part in one neat little shop that sells for dollars and buys for dollars.
I resurrected Kugel's legendary AR-Shoppe mod, and improved it, adding compatibility for every single AR derived mod, as well as all the AR derived parts in game.
There's not much more to say, if it works with an M4, HK-416, Sig MPX or MCX, etc, it's here. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Mod Compatibilities:
Shop contains all the parts for the following mods:
Carl's Blackout Expansion - 1 preset ARBlackout with great stats
Carl's Q Honey Badger - 2 presets, one with great stats, one that's just default
Carl's STAR15 - 1 preset for sniping
Mira's M16A4 - all parts, but no presets, they live in Peacekeeper level 1
Thunderbag's Full Auto STM, two presets - one for CQC, one for snipes
You do not need to install the above mods to use this mod, they merely provide a little extra sauce for an already overstocked shop.

FileFershte's Balance Patch 2.1.2Patched to work with 2.1.2. If you want to use it on earlier versions remove the like that says AKIVersion="2.1.2",
I rebalanced out quiet boys, the VSS, VAL, and the Sig MCX.
These guns, in reality, have far less kick than their loud counterparts, the AKs and M4s, yet in game they are totally wacky.
Soo, I made some significant changes to the recoil of those guns - on top of that, I adjusted ergonomics so that the VSS is a little less ergo than a Val but handles recoil a little better.
Anyway, try…QuoteI rebalanced out quiet boys, the VSS, VAL, and the Sig MCX.

QuoteA wise man once said "If an M4 in a game is a bad weapon, then the GAME is wrong."
This mod adjusts basically every single category of part in an attempt to bring variety and flavor to weapon modding, improving almost every "non meta" part in the game, bringing everything closer together. The Meta builds are EXACTLY THE SAME as they used to be, but now there are more parts that are equal to those builds, and parts that were considered mediocre or bad are now more realistically good.
I really don't want to say too much more, so let me give you the bullet points:
Optics: Every single optic / sight in the entire game is now balanced to be equal to the best in that category, so for red dots there is no ergo penalty even for mounts, holo sights are equal to the Trijicon SRS, scopes are equal to the Vudu. Mounts don't have penalties anymore, and eyecups don't do anything to your ergo, so feel free to run your optics how you like them.
Pistol Grips: Every pistol grip in the game is balanced into 3 categories: 66% of meta, 83% of meta, and meta.
Furniture: All M4, HK, FAL, and AK handguards and certain pieces are rebalanced to be closer to meta, and give you more freedom of choice.
Stocks: All M4 compatible stocks are adjusted to be more sensible, allowing you to have more choices that fit your mission.
Muzzle Devices: Muzzle brakes are generally buffed, silencers are all brought closer to the Thunderbeast. Muzzle devices for .308, 7.62, and 5.45 can be really good. Try the KAC .308 suppy if you want huge ergo penalty but great recoil performance! Try the Silencerco Multicaliber if you want very small ergo penalty !
and a few "tweaks" coming at a later date to make things a little more balanced.
If you aren't convinced, here are some comments from players who used my balance patches:
"I just think your mods are mandatory for the game"
"I love your mods, they are not just "excellent", they are necessary"
"These mods fix the problem of meta guns in tarkov, but the right way. Nothing in these mods is overly powerful compared to another item, each weapon mod has their own place in what they do and it makes them very viable. Thank you for doing this without making things overpowered or too easy. "
"very naice!"
"already using the [early versions of the mod] you made and wow, building aesthetic/fun weapons is awesome with them alone. this should make the experience even better"
Please, give this mod a try. I worked extremely hard on it, mostly for my own enjoyment, but, it has really, really made the gun building portion of the game so much more fun for me, and I know you'll love it. If there's any specific portion you would like to disable, all can be adjusted from the config file included in the mod.

QuoteTarkov's balance is built on the idea of "the rich get richer, the poor get shot."
This works for multiplayer, but for a single player game freedom of choice is important.
In vanilla, the red dot sights vary in ergo penalty from 0 to 6. Why? They're all basically the same, and what REALLY sets them apart is the way they look and feel, which really is enough to make the player choose the "right" option for them anyway. Why penalize further if you like the UH-1 more than the XPS3?
The Dragunov's PSO scope has a -7 ergo penalty, but when you use the ugly eyecup that totally ruins your field of vision that penalty drops to -2. Why did they balance it like that?
The Trijicon SRS and the Holosun red dot have the same reticle, but the holosun is four times worse for no apparent reason?
Well, frick that noise! Let's fix the balance!
This patch does something rather simple: each optic category's best possible value is now applied to the whole category.
That means that the 0 penalty from the PK-06 now applies to the RMR and its mounts (and all other micros and their mounts.)
The best full sized red dot, the Trijicon SRS's penalty of -1 is now standardized, and that weird shit with the Cobra having +1 ergo if you use the sight shade has now been corrected.
On that note, actually, eyecups, mounts, and other attachments no longer affect performance - the optic itself now has the cumulative ergo of the full set, so on the REAP-IR, instead of -1 for mount, -9 for optic, and +6 for eyecup, the REAP-IR itself has -4 penalty, with the other 2 parts doing nothing at all.
This whole mod was written because I was outraged to learn that the PSO scopes are over 70% better if you use the ugly eyecup, and that the RMR is the only micro red dot that has an ergo penalty, and for gods sake why is the la-rue sight riser decreasing your ergo when all it does is slightly change the height of the optic? A PK-06 with that is lower than a T-1 Micro with the high spacer, yet the T-1 receives no penalty. It's all fucking arbitrary and I hate it.
From this day forth, your optic choices are based on cosmetics, and magnification to fit your mission, rather than on min-maxing a completely arbitrary penalty.
Note: minimum penalty from any given category remains unchanged. So, if you're the type of person who worries that the EoTech 553 being -1 instead of -3 is game breaking, just remember you would probably be using the PK-06 at 0 penalty if you were truly performance minded.

QuoteTarkov's balance is built on the idea of "the rich get richer, the poor get shot."
This works for multiplayer, but for a single player game freedom of choice is important.
In vanilla there is one absolutely incredible silencer, and everything else is noticeably worse. The Thunderbeast Ultra 5, lightest, best recoil mitigation, and least ergo penalty. Why is it so good?
And on the flip side, the Silencerco Multicaliber is 61% worse for no apparent reason?
Well, frick that noise! Let's fix the balance!
This mod's goal is primarily to try and bring some degree of logic to tarkov's random nosense.
First, the absolutely most meta builds are exactly the same as they used to be, but now they have competitors. The KAC QDSS and QDC suppressors are actually awesome now, in keeping with the pedigree of the Knight's Armament Corporation. The Gemtech suppressor is now as good as the Thunderbeast, but lacks the flexibility of being able to QD and go loud while still being controllable.
Basically, I just need you to try this one out for yourself. I tried to bring almost everything that should be good up to be far closer and more competitive with meta builds - I tried to make loud builds more viable. I made muzzle brakes responsible for almost all of the recoil mitigation even on QD Suppressed weapons.
Try it out - I can tell you for free it feels better now than it did in the base game.
This is my first "wip" mod release - I am not sure how I want to change things, or where to go from here with improving this mod, but it's a start, and I really hope you guys like it as much as you did the other 3 mods.
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated!

QuoteTarkov's balance is built on the idea of "the rich get richer, the poor get shot."
This works for multiplayer, but for a single player game freedom of choice is important.
In vanilla there are two absolutely incredible stocks, and everything else is noticibly worse. The Magpul MOE stock, and the Magpul PRS GEN3 stock.
Well, frick that noise! Let's fix the balance!
I broke stocks up into about 5 or 6 categories and came up with some balance numbers according to existing meta builds, the part's default properties, and a bit of logic.
There are now 5 stocks that are now able to reach "meta recoil" values of 38% recoil reduction (including the SI buffer tube, usually)
There are also 8 stocks that can achieve the Magpul MOE stock's incredible balance of 37% recoil and 12 ergo.
And stocks that don't fit this category are no slouches either! You can run a "meta ergo" build with absolutely awesome ergonomics and good recoil reduction, as well as a more balanced approach. Even the "kinda bad" stocks are significantly better than in the vanilla game.
Also; note to all my FDE Operators - I love you guys, and have made sure that there will always be a tan part in any given best in slot category, so that you can be the tannest of mans. Stay Gold, FDE-Boy.
Notes from the modder: This mod really expands your freedom to make a gun look how you want it, while still rewarding you for making good choices based on the stats of parts. I've found myself running a much more diverse set of parts than I did before I started working on this patch, and jeeze, I'm just glad I don't always gravitate to the MOE stocks anymore!

This works for multiplayer, but for a single player game freedom of choice is important.
In vanilla there are very few 'meta' builds, and they all look exactly the same, gross!
With this mod, all pistol grips and handguards are rebalanced and put into reasonable categories that fit a specific mission, while all being a little closer together.
There is a "meta" category, where several parts now share the same properties as what were formerly best in slot.
There is now a "meta ergo" category, parts with good (but not bis) recoil but better ergo than previously existed even in meta builds.
There are "good" parts, with values that match their meta counterparts in one way, but are worse in the other,
and then there are "meh" parts, which are still a little better than in stock.
I made this mod so that you are more free to make your gun look how you want it - a perfectly customized gun will still be far better than stock, or a haphazard mixture of parts based exclusively on looks.
Also; note to all my FDE Operators - I love you guys, and have made sure that there will always be a tan part in any given best in slot category, so that you can be the tannest
of mans.Stay Gold, FDE-Boy.At the end of the day, a fully meta build will still be best in slot, and will be only about 2pts of ergo better than it would have been in livekov - this is not an OP patch, and has no intention of allowing you to break the game. This is for creative freedom, not to cheat.

QuoteTarkov's balance is built on the idea of "the rich get richer, the poor get shot."
This works for multiplayer, but for a single player game freedom of choice is important.
In vanilla there is no good choice for a grip except the Fortis Shift (-2/9) and the RK-2(-4/-1).
With this mod, parts are rebalanced and put into 4 categories that fit a specific mission, while all being equally viable:
High Ergo: -1% Recoil, + 14 ergo. Better ergo than anything in the base game, but mediocre recoil reduction.
Balanced Ergo: -2% Recoil, +10 ergo. a Fortis Shift clone.
Balanced Recoil: -3% Recoil, +6 ergo. a slightly buffed Hera CQR.
High Recoil: -4% Recoil, +2 ergo. a slightly more ergonomic RK-2.
Before I created this mod, I literally only used those two grips, on literally all of my guns. And, just, bleh, so boring. Now I mix and match grips on aesthetics and mission requirements, and instead of using just a pair of grips, I think in my armory I have about 12 different grips across my many guns! The testers have also reported that their variety changed too, and they feel less hemmed into boring carbon copy meta builds.
