it doesn't open the parachute on the airdrop until it is VERY close to the ground ( it opens chute then lands within 10sec of opening) so you need to look for a small dot that drops like a rock.

Is there any audio sounds from the plane or do you just see it in the sky? I've played about 400+ raids so far and haven't seen one

I hear the sound of it. And also, I don't know if it's weird or not, but the sound starts and stops instantly without fading.

I haven't seen the airdrop get dropped but have found it, you just have to be close to where it lands as it deploys the chute low
