SPT Level Based Maps 1.0.5

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

A small server mod that makes progression start from SOT to Labs, with some extra requirements in between.

SIT does not work with this mod. If you don't play SIT, don't worry about this. Might make an SIT compatible version in the future.



LABS ONLY REQUIRES LEVEL 50, NO CARD NEEDED. The new version now requires a labs card.

A small mod that makes maps accessible by level, based on what BSG is planning, and map placement in the menu.

Q: Does gear progress too?

Not right now, but I might add it in a later update.

Q: Why are lighthouse and shoreline switched in the menu?

Balancing and progression. Lightkeeper is endgame, so the map and leveling should match that.

Q: Do bots progress?

No, but that's planned.

Q: Why does it say "AVAILABLE ON LEVEL (level)-100"

I haven't added the maximum access levels yet, so it just says 100.

  • BSG is changing (or changed, I haven't played in a while) the map system to make the map variables used in this mod a part of the live game (as in, the map level variables in the files).


    Why is this a bad thing?

    The mod will basically be obsolete and won't serve much of a purpose.


    Why is this a good thing?

    The mod will have more features, and will give me better things to work with. Expect more features.

    • UPDATE: BSG has changed the system. I am going to test the mod with the newest versions, and see if it works.

  • is there a way to configure the levels at which I will unlock maps? level 15 for woods is just a bit too hard for me considering basically all of the starter quests need to be done there.

    • open the mods folder, go to src -> mod.js and then adjust the levels.

  • so mods working somewhat on 3.5.8,tho i found a bug or such,click on a locked map selection and map and next and it will let you through to that raid basically nulling the mod,so yea.

    If I want to mix up the Level Requirements for each map, how exactly would I go around doing so specifically for Streets of Tarkov?

    Its because I wanted to change the Progression to Start at Factory, and then have an actual level Requirement for Streets of Tarkov.

    • Wondering the same thing, I believe SOT is Streets of Tarkov, but that is an absolute guess.

    • not YET, I might add a new version which makes them level up depending on the map.

  • would you recommend using this mod on a brand new profile or can you use it part-way through? I'm trying to build up a hardcore-based setup of mods which is both fun and hardcore and upload it on here for people to try out. I think level-based locations is a good idea I look forward to trying this out, cheers!

    • Both, actually. I started a new playthrough, but its still fun either way. If you are at level 50, though, the mod is pretty much non-existent, since you reached the max level.
